“I am the greatest, I said that even before I knew I was.” -Muhammad Ali
[The scene fades in on the grinning face of a good looking man with brown hair and brown eyes. He is smiling from ear to ear, dressed in a black suit with white shirt and navy blue tie. Standing at his side is an amazon woman, about 5-foot-9 and in better physical condition than just about every man on the 2CW roster. Her cold blue eyes peer out through strands of curly blonde hair; she means business as she stands with her arms crossed.]
Man: Good evening cretins! My name is Spencer Novak and I would like to introduce to you the GREATEST person to ever grace a professional wrestling ring...
“THE FRANCHISE”...RICKY...VALERRRRRRRRROOOOO!
[Spencer Novak burst out with an evil laugh as he steps back to allow Ricky Valero to step into the picture flashing his trademark smirk as he swaggers into the scene. He’s rocking an all-new pink t-shirt with the words “#FRANCHISE” in black letters.]
RICKY: Troy, while I have you, do me a favor and go into the bathroom. Take a good look at yourself in the mirror. Take a picture if you have to. Because I want you to remember what you looked like before I knocked all of the teeth out of your mouth at Road to Reckoning!
Not so long ago, I made my debut in PWX against the reigning champion and self-proclaimed “god” of some sort, with every odd stacked against me and every obstacle in my way. And do you recall what happened that fateful night, Mr. Troy Stone? I pinned your shoulders to the mat for the three count and claimed a triumphant debut victory over the most-heralded talent in PWX at that time.
Well here we go again… You and I, one on one in my 2CW debut in Chicago with a spectacular opportunity to place myself firmly among the top stars in this company. Admittedly, I’ve been out of the game for awhile. In fact, my last significant bout came that very night I defeated you in a PWX ring. But make no mistake about it, Troy, I’m coming with guns loaded and everything in my arsenal available. My hand WILL be raised victorious at the end of the night!
[Ricky is licking his chops now as he gets excited for his long overdue in-ring return. With another evil chuckle, Spencer Novak takes hold of the mic.]
SPENCER NOVAK: Mr. Stone, you’ve made your mark on professional wrestling. You have shown that you are of the highest caliber on any given night. No matter the challenge, no matter the circumstances...you have proven that you will assuredly steal the show. But life in the spotlight is difficult when one Ricky Valero is standing in your way. An icon in the wrestling business himself, a showstopper in his own regard who has never exited a ring without giving his all and leaving the fans with their jaws on their floor and their hearts in their hands.
I see the future of professional wrestling and make no mistake about it, Ricky Valero is ever present in that image. The pinnacle of this industry past, present, and future...his name shall never be forgotten. Which is more than we can say for you, Mr. Stone, a man more closely associated with Miss Morganti’s luscious tan legs than anything else. Talk around back is not how you were the PWX’s longest reingning Heavyweight Champion. Or how you won the Grand Prix, an event my friend Ricky Valero will be staking his claim to in a few weeks time. No no no no no no...they are not referring to you as the “sexiest” or the “coolest” man in professional wrestling. No, Mr. Stone, you are “Morganti’s husband”...
You are a has-been. A washed up, no good, little bitch tending to his wife’s every beck and call, and at Road to Reckoning, Ricky Valero is going to make you his bitch once again in a match I guarantee will never be forgotten by the fans of 2CW or this industry as a whole!
[Ricky extends his hand, gently forcing Spencer Novak back as he takes the microphone in his hand once again.]
RICKY: For nearly two decades I’ve given all of my blood, sweat and tears to entertain the fans. I competed in some of the most heinous of matches, and I won some of the world’s most prized possessions in the industry. People like me… we SELL tickets. We put on EPIC matches and we EARN every opportunity we receive. And you can bank on me making my quick ascension to the top with my eyes set wide on Damian Cole or Adam Stryker and the Heavyweight Championship.
And apparently my road to the title starts with you, Troy, so congratulations on being the first of many victims to fall to Ricky Valero en route to being crowned the King of 2CW! So scrap whatever big plans you had for yourself here, Troy. Forget about those title aspirations. I’m standing in your way now, at Road to Reckoning and from here on out.
In fact, all of 2CW heed my warning: The landscape is changing. There’s a new franchise player in town and he’s looking to make his presence felt at Road to Reckoning! Some of you are familiar with what I’m capable of. The rest of you are in for a rude awakening. The fact of the matter is that I’m here now and the momentum is shifting in my favor.
I AM “THE FRANCHISE”...
I AM…
RICKY VALERO!
AND IT’S GAME TIME BABY!
So, are you ready 2CW? Are you ready for the latest and greatest era in this promotion’s young history?
[With a wink and a smirk, Ricky and his crew exit the picture and we fade to black…]

Disclaimer: Decided to go promo only here so Good Luck and Enjoy!
The 2CW Wrestling cameras spot Troy Stone backstage sporting a black suit jacket with a blue shirt underneath and black tailor made pants. Troy runs his hands through his hair before he faces the camera.
Troy: Now I'll be honest I knew going into two weeks ago, facing off against the 2CW World Champion Damian Cole that he wasn't no slouch. I mean, that's obvi and the gold that he gets to rest on his shoulder does all the talking for him. I knew this going in. I knew he just came off winning that title, taking an opportunity that he saw was available to win that championship. I knew going in that I could beat Damian Cole because really I firmly believe that I, Troy Stone, can beat any man, any woman, anyone that steps in a wrestling ring. Past, present, future, I'm more than confident in my abilities to steal the show and to win.
Troy laughs.
Troy: Yeah, that Damian Cole? That new World Heavyweight Champion? He's no joke. He's the real deal and as I was carried to the back after losing to him, he had answered the question of whether or not he was fit to be a World Champion. The spotlight isn't for everyone. It isn't. Look at all the young actors in Hollywood that flop once they lights shine underneath them. Some of them crumble.Damian Cole had to prove to the world that he wasn't going to crumble under the spotlight and I, being someone who has been one of the best wrestlers the past few years, I know what it's like stepping into that light for the first time. it's appealing. The whole world's watching. BTW big deal. But everyone can handle it and I honestly though Damian Cole wouldn't be able to make a successful first performance as World Champion. Not because of his ability but because of mine.
I'm not saying I underestimated him. What I'm saying is that I wondered could he step up and beat me. I know he's the man and he deserves that championship that belongs to him. He's an unknown. He's never been at the top. He's never been the man and when you're at the top, you're the only one that doesn't have to look up because everyone's climbing and crawling upward to you. You never know who's able to truly ascend. There's been plenty of people that everyone has said "yeah that guy right there's going to become the best." And well, some of those guys don't. Because they flop like Sin City 2. Regardless having won big match after big match after big match and knowing there's no one that can steal a show, that can produce every single time the spotlight is on them, I was sure that I was going to defeat Damian Cole.
He got me though.
And I give him that. To be honest after I lost I didn't really take it so well. Because I don't lose. Troy Stone losing is a rarity. It happens and even last year when I reigned over PWX I lost a couple matches. It happens. It's the one thing I have to remind myself no matter how much I believe I can do anything. FYI I mean ANYTHING. I lost to Ricky Valero last year for example and this loss to Damian Cole I guess it's just another shade of wrestling irony because tomorrow night, I face Ricky Valero again.
Now back to what I was saying people. I don't like losing. It doesn't sit well with me. I don't. I can't do something and not what to win. It's not in my DNA or my pores. Not in my vocab. I don't like walking after from a match knowing someone bested me when I know for the last seven years I've outworked nearly everyone I've been around in this business. I'm generally in this not just because this is my life or this is the thing I want to do in my life, but I'm in this to because the absolute best. And losing doesn't get you to that mark and knowing how much I put into everything I do in that ring, when I lose it stings.
It stung when you beat me last year Ricky. No lies. I mean I was the PWX World Champion of Divinity and in your first match, you rolled me up for the three and you won. That didn't settle with me because I don't like losing. I don't like leaving anything unfinished. But you know what Ricky, here's the one thing about me that's defined my career. Not just the matches and the titles and the big moments, it's the fact that every time I lose I bounce back in a big way.
Think about it Ricky.
I mean I see you have some assistants now talking for you. Which is convenient I guess. Whatevs. But even they can dig up this info. I debuted in PWX and lose believe it or not. May 2013. I respond by winning and become the longest reigning PWX Evolution Champion of the Galaxy. And when Ryan Kidd beat me for that title in July last year, I come back and beat him, win the Grand Prix and become the longest reigning PWX World Champion for Divinity.
You can't keep Troy Stone down.
A lot of people in this business have found that out firsthand. The hardway. It's the only way they could learn said fact right? When you beat me Ricky I was stick to my stomach. You bested me on that night and I'll admit that doesn't go so well for the ego. And I know my rep of being a megalomaniac is out there because of stuff like this. But that's the thing Ricky. I don't wrestle for any other reason than to be better than everyone else. There's so many great wrestlers in the world and I've faced some of the best. But that doesn't truly give me satisfaction that I'm rubbing elbows with the best. I mean I know for others that's accomplishment and I get it. However I don't want to rub elbow. i want to create elbow space amongst the top and stand at the top of pro wrestling by myself.
When I lost to you, I bounced back and defended my championship out of 2013 and into this year. Even still thinking about our match tomorrow night that lost to you last night still claws at me. And since you're back here's another confession. I was waiting for you. I was waiting for the moment you got a title shot against me so I could correct the lost I took to you on that night. You beat me last October and I wanted two months for you to get to the point where you were challenging me. In those two months, you faded out like a candle and then you got bounced out.
I was waiting for your challenge.
And you never got to the dance. I was disappointed honestly. True story. I guess you could say now we can finally have that rematch that i was longing for back then right? Ha well things have changed haven't they Ricky? I get the impression that the Ricky valero that beat me isn't the Ricky Valero I'll face tomorrow night. Yeah after looking at little video you posted with your entourage I think that's say to say. I see it man. You're body painting yourself now. BTW did you do this AFTER you saw my friend David Wilson do this or nah?
I'm just saying.
It's irrelevant anyways if you piggybacked his idea. It's irrelevant. But it's obvious that you've changed since then. But that's evolution. Not everything stays the same and you haven't. At Road to Reckoning as much as I'll be looking at a new Ricky Valero, you'll be looking into the same Troy Stone you saw thing. Sure, priorities have changed but in terms of being the coolest, the sexiest, the Almighty? That hasn't changed. In the ring that is.
And I guess these days you don't like talking for yourself huh? WELP, so much for that. I mean your little agent, manager, whatever he is and his speech was cute. I'll give him cute. It's a stretch but why not. And I get the gist. Saying I don't wear the pants in my marriage. Yes in 2014 those jokes are relevant! Forget that it's a 20th century cliche, it's totally the knee slapper.
So that's how you're doing this these days Ricky? I'll say this. As much as you want to make the wife jokes and yadda, Troy Stone has never had to have people speak for me. And keep in mind, a lot of things I've said in this business has gotten me into a trouble. It's lead to a lot of enemies, a lot of hatred and a lot of people wanting to see my demise. Even still today that hasn't changed. I live by my sword, which is my own words and I'll die by it. Meg has never spoken for me. My man Bruce has never spoken for me. My words come out of my diction Ricky and while you got your establishment trying to help the hype machine that you always try to hype, I don't need to go through all those hoops to stay relevant you know?
You're a great wrestler but there's a reason you've gone from company to company to company isn't it? History says Ricky valero doesn't stay for the long haul for whatever reason. Whatevs. Only you know why. For seven years I haven't gone anywhere. I've wrestled from the very beginning. The days of wrestling in front of 20 people getting paid like 40 bucks to now. I've never flaked or have left in the night because for seven years Troy Stone has kept climbing, kept stealing the show to get to where he's at.
Not bad for a 27 year old, 7 year pro washed up has been right?
BTW I guess Spencer thinks we're both Benjamin Button since you've been wrestling for two decades and somehow you're the future as I begin my prime and yet I'm knocking on father time's door. So it's good to see your agent has done his homework right? Haha regardless Ricky, at Road to Reckoning after almost a year we finally have that rematch. And only in wrestling in where last year everyone was rooting for you to defeat me a year later it's the other way around. Because I've had to paint my face and recreate my identity like someone I know. That's you BTW. I've had my good moments, I've had my bad. I've been the villain. Whatever people have called me, in the end, I've always been Troy Stone. And as I know going forward I'll lose more matches, I'll keep bouncing back like I always do. Tomorrow night's no different Ricky. We have unfinished business to take care of. You've been in this business double the amount I have. Think about that Ricky. You should know better to never say someone in their prime is "washed up" because when you're in your prime, you're at your peak. And I am at my peak, which means that troy Stone you beat last year, is better? The Troy Stone that was the longest PWX champ ever is better today than he was then. That's a scary thought Ricky. And unlike last time, this time, you won't best me because I won't allow myself to lose again in the spotlight to you. Not this time Ricky.
