The Elgin, Illinois show opened with Richard Page welcoming the fans and hyping them up for the championship main event.! Garth Lannister and his Two Men Army then invaded the ring and Garth told Page to give his boys a tag title rematch. Richard said he will, but only if Warrfare and Riker win both their singles matches tonight!
1) Warrfare def. Les Grisham at 8:35
The rookie from KWI:Coalition made a one-off appearance in the SPITFIRE ring, however it was not a lucky one as he had to face an absolute monster in Warrfare. After Les got away from the offense of the master of the Backbreaker, he was successful with several impact moves when outpacing the opponent. Grisham went for his signature Howlin' Elbow, but Warrfare moved away and hit Step Into The Warrfare for the pinfall.
2) Riker def. Rob Riley (w/Josh Lost) at 7:22
"The Modern Day Terminator" was dominating the biker from the early going, but then Josh Lost interfered and Riley got the upper hand for a minute. When Riley accidentaly hit the ref, Lost slid in the ring and went to attack Riker, but Warrfarre came from backstage and evened the numbers game. Two Men Army hit Bullet With a Name on Lost, eliminating him from the match, and Riker then hit the Buzzkiller Lariat on Rob for the three count.
Garth Lannister joined his proteges in the ring and said that no matter who will leave Missisauga with the Tag Titles, Two Men Army will take it next month. Rob Riley, angry with his tag partner's interference, dropped Lost with a Piledriver in the center of the ring and left without him.
3) Jackson Davis def. Mikal Drakin at 14:49
The former Heritage Champion surprised the crowd with a win over the man with most reigns as SPITFIRE Champion. Drakin, hell bent on getting a shot at winning the title for the fifth time, dominated the early part of the match, but his aggresivity cost him as Davis caught him off guard and dropped him with a Death Valley Bomb for two. Drakin was rocked, visibly still feeling the effects of his Steel Cage KO match from last month, but still was able to get a two count after Chokeslamming Davis from the top rope when the OPM was going for a rare high risk move. Just when Drakin had his opponent set up for the Big Boot finisher, Davis countered it beautifully, getting the former champ into a Powerbomb position. He hit the OP-Bomb II and pinned Drakin.
After the match, Drakin was livid and two members of security had to escort him backstage.
4) Derrick Wiland and Ryo Unikawa def. EXCELLENCE (Alexander Wright and Marshall Compton) at 11:34
The former rivals teamed up against two members of the smug trio who attacked Unikawa last month. EXCELLENCE did their best to keep Ryo in their corner, tagging in and out frequently and punishing him with anything they could use. Wright nearly got the win with Gentleman's Brainbuster, but Unikawa kicked out and kept fighting. His break came when Compton was in the ring, but Unikawa broke out of his hold and dropped him with Uni-Cutter. He then finally tagged in the fresh Wiland, who showed the best of his Strong Style arsenal. After a while, he dropped Marshall off the apron with a Spinning Kenka Kick and then hit the Black Hole Driller on Wright to get the win.
Richard Page congratulated both men and rewarded them - Unikawa will get a Heritage title shot in October and Wiland will join Jackson Davis and the winner of Stryker/Pearce in a 3-Way Elimination match for the top title!
5) SPITFIRE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: CK Money def. Team Wade at 8:44 to become the new champions
CK Money continued their way out of the losing streak with the sweetest possible price, becoming the new tag team champions. Merc and Syco, fresh off their brutal TLC title defense, once again mixed their craziness with great tag team chemistry, but CK Money got a big break when Kashmere hit the Top Rope DVD he calls Murder Maker on Merc. Eventough Syco broke the pin, Merc was out cold and Syco had to defend the titles on his own. Eventhough he did his best, it was Darrell's Kash Is King Heel kick to the back of the head followed by Cameron's Tiger Driver called Money Maker that got CK Money the victory and the belts.
6) Handicap Match: Joey Ruff def. Nina Stokes and Mia Abbott at 11:30
The long awaited in-ring debut of The Ruff Daddy went just according to plan of the man they call Mr. Backbreaker. Joey started the match with dominance over Mia, grouding the young Canadian with his precise technical moves. Nina was dying to make the tag, and finally did about 6 minutes in. From that point on, it was all even as Nina was a greater match for Joey than the 6 time LAWA Global Champ ever though she would be. Joey cheated his way into hitting The Shiznit I, but Nina kicked out! Rather surprised by that, Joey was taken out of his game and Stokes began dominating the match up until a shocking turn of events. When Stokes was up on the top rope, ready to hit American Ninja, Mia shook the ropes which caused Nina to take a really bad bump on the canvas. Ruff took advantage, hitting The Shiznit II and then Ruff Times for the overkill and the three count.
Post-match, Ruff decided he has taken Mia under his wings.
7) SPITFIRE HERITAGE CHAMPIONSHIP: Matt Bane def. Manchester Black at 13:29 to retain his championship
It was a second chance for the EXCELLENCE member, who lost to Jackson Davis in the match to crown the inaugural Heritage Champion. Black showed he is a top technical wrestler, but Matt kept fighting back. Black was near a title win with Dragon Slam from the second rope, but Matt was close to the ropes and it helped him break the pin. Manchester was trying to finish the match off with Fisherman Suplex, but Bane countered it into a Brainbuster and then hit the BOOM! Headshot finisher for the three count.
8) SPITFIRE CHAMPIONSHIP 60 IRON MAN MATCH: Adam Stryker def. Ricky Ian Pearce 3-1 to retain his championship
a) Stryker pinned Pearce at 22:50 to get a 1-0 lead
What started as technical clinic broke out into a full fledged high octane main event about ten minutes in. Both men were hitting one another with everything they got before Stryker countered Pearce's Midnight Crisis Leg Lariat into a Powerbomb and then hit The Elitist Smasher for the three count.
b) Pearce pinned Stryker at 34:12 to even the score at 1-1
Ricky didn't want to give up and his brave effort was awarded with an equalising point. He got a nearfall after Lariato Gozaimasu!, but then got caught of guard with a Rolling Elbow by Stryker. As Adam was going to hit Amateur Brain Surgery, Pearce slided out behind him and took advantage of having the Wristlock on, dropping Adam with a brutal Rest In Pearce Lariat and becoming the first man to pin or submit Adam Stryker in the SPITFIRE ring.
c) Stryker pinned Pearce at 45:06 to get a 2-1 lead
It looked that Adam's reign was nearing an end when Pearce continued to work on the champion. He even hit the RTO, but Stryker got his leg on the ropes and Ricky had to break the hold. When Ricky went for another Lariato Gozaimasu!, Stryker charged forward and cut his former tag team partner in half with The Stryke out of nowhere and got the pin to get the lead.
d) Stryker pinned Pearce at 59:45 to get a 3-1 lead
With Ricky having the wind knocked out of him, Stryker continued to work on "The Lariat" and tried to get a point that would secure him the victory. Pearce finally broke out of a Bearhug with a flurry of elbows to the side of the head about five minutes before the end of the time limit. He hit a Rolling Elbow, a Superkick and Midnight Crisis to get a nearfall. When he signalled for Rest In Pearce and everybody thought the match would go to overtime, Stryker dodged the dangerous Lariat, got behind Ricky and Schoolboyed him for three count.
After the match, Stryker and Pearce got taken care of by the doctors. Afterwards, both men shook hands in the center of the ring to a big applause and "That Was Awesome" chant.
