Camera opens to Johnny Ajax, standing backstage with Katherine Kensington under one arm and the 2CW Heritage Championship over his other shoulder.
I was wrong about you James Silkk. I said you were washed up, I said you didn't care any more, I said you couldn't hang anymore. But I never pegged you for a fucking coward.
Katherine elbows Johnny in the side, and silently scowls up at him.
Sorry dear, but you saw it. He felt the need to jump me from behind. I mean, Shawn Star did it as well, but he's a rookie, he needed that advantage against me, and he still lost. And look at you James: A former World Champion, a former mega-star in the world of professional wrestling, not having to resort to rookie tactics to try and pick up a win, and the end result was the same, as when Shawn Star did it: A loss.
My first title defense: in the books....
Katherine lets loose a small party popper and gives Johnny a kiss on the check.
(Ajax Chuckles) Thank you dear, but sadly, my work isnt over yet. I have to go back out there and defend my title yet again, but this is why I am the "real champion"
I'll explain it to the fans who aren't too knowledgeable about what goes on behind the scenes of a wrestling show, think of it this way: If you paid $20 for a TV taping and got 45 minutes of wrestling, you'd be pissed right? Of course you would. So we record a few episodes at a time. And look at all of the cards on WGN, look at the one name on nearly all of them...
Katherine: It's yours darling! (She smiles up at him)
Ajax: Haha, it sure is dear. I'm the one who puts in the most work in 2CW. I'm the one who goes out and gives it all to the crowd here. I'm going to do it all again against Marisol Hawkes next week on WGN.
And Marisol, I know how you work. We've shared locker rooms together, I've watched your matches from "Gorilla", I've heard you speak, and I know that you're very good. But just because you can ALMOST beat Declan, means that you can take me down. I may be a bit sore right now, Marisol, but I'm ready to go right now. I'm going to march right past you. I'm the man who is going to make this title. I am the true Champion of the Second City, Marisol.
Prepare to learn that first hand.
Ajax and Katherine walks out of frame together as camera fades.

Camera opens to a room decorated with championship belts, pictures and posters of professional wrestlers. The Camera pans a bit before settling in front of Johnny Ajax, who is gazing around the room with a slight smile on his face. He hoists the 2CW Heritage Championship onto his shoulder and begins to speak.
This.. This is what being the Heritage champion means to me. My heritage as a professional wrestler is in this room. All around me are the various accomplishments and mementos of the Trevelyan family history in this business. From the belt my grandfather won when he became the 3rd Pacific Northwest Champion. The Pacific Northwest Tag Team Championships that my father won 4 times throughout his career. My sister's singlet when she captured the West Coast Women's championship. My first T-shirt from the Storm Academy.
There's gold all around this room. But there's something about this title that means so much more to me than any of these. This belt is something more than myself, or my individual accomplishments. It's three generations of greatness, bundled into a 20 pound piece of gold.
I've never been much of a talker, that's the one thing I didn't inherit through the genepool. I've always let my wrestling speak for me. And this title... This is the greatest reward I've received thus far for my work.
Marisol, I've stated time and time again that I'm so excited to finally wrestle you. 1 on 1, just you and me, and that excitement grows more and more with every minute that passes. I respect the hell out of you, and I hope that before, or after our match, you'll have a high level of respect for me as well, but you're going to have to kill me in order to take this title from me, because this isn't just another throw away belt for me.
This title will be hung up in this room as soon as I move onto "Bigger and Better" things, but this title will always mean that I have done the Trevelyan name proud in this business. I will fight to the death for my family Marisol, and if you want to be the Heritage Champion, you better fucking kill me...
Ajax takes one last look around before Camera fades to black.

I was so close to it all. That is the second time in just as many shots...but I am not going to settle for second best. Not now, not ever. This match upcoming for me is different. I feel that this is management sticking it to me and saying that I have to settle for second best. Not this time...not now.
You see, I was told when I was younger that I always had to settle for second best. That I was nothing in the eyes of my aunt or my grandmother. You Ajax...you speak of your family like you are honoring them by holding that heritage title so proudly. Have you ever thought for one second about those that don't have a family to be proud of them? Have you ever thought about the last words you said to me...that I would have to kill you in order to become champion. I am not one to take people up on their offers all that much. I believe in working hard to get what you want. That is something that we both agree upon Johnny. Here is one thing about me that you don't quite grasp.
I will take you upon the offer to kill you for the belt you hold dear.
You see, I am sick of being second best. I am sick of being in the mid card and I worked my ass off against Declan Black to try and get what I wanted. This match? I feel that this title match is nothing. Worthless in my book...but if I have to pry that heritage title out of your cold dead hands Johnny boy, then so be it. I can say so long to you and move you out of my way of what I want in my career. This title match is more to me than just another title match.
This is me sticking it to everyone else.
Those who underestimate me. Those who hate my guts for working my ass off to get to the top. This win over you will mean that I proved people wrong. You may respect me, and I respect you to a certain point Johnny boy. Gaining your belt will just be a bonus to pinning you flat on your back. I am no longer going to settle for second best.
I am going to be at the top. Just you wait and watch me.
