AJ Fairchild...
When I took a step back from the world of wrestling, 4 months ago, I never thought that I would come back to the national scene in Chicago. DC, Philadelphia, New York, maybe. But Chicago? To be honest, it was the last place I thought I would return. When John Pariah approached me about 2CW, I'll be blunt, I wasn't sure how I felt about it. I wanted to go somewhere that had the best talent around. Sure, guys like Pariah, Silkk, and of course my brother, Adam Stryker make it a pretty good argument for 2CW, but when they came at me with my debut against AJ Fairchild, I was sold.
You see, I've watched AJ for years, on iPPVs, DVD's and even on TV a few times. We've even shared a few locker rooms together, but correct me if I'm wrong. but we've never wrestled together, right? The chance to change that fact, made up my mind for me. I respect the hell out of you, AJ. That's why I took this match. That's why I'm willing to put all of the personal issues I've had over these past four months, work out all of the ring rust I may have, and get myself into tip top shape, just so I can be the opponent the crowd in Chicago should get when they watch you work.
4 months. Thats how long it's been since I left the comfort of Portland, to wrestle. If you don't know the reason why, then you can ask me face to face. I'm done discussing what's happened in the public eye.
Can I still hang?
AJ...You'll find out in Chicago.
