Non Title Match: Johnny Ajax vs Sasha Foote

Post by Sasha Foote on Jul 19, 2015 3:38:45 GMT
Redefine 11 had come and gone, but at the end of the night, Sasha stood in the center of the ring with a microphone after being told her opponent for the next Redefine would be her most storied rival, the man she had a confrontation with earlier in the evening, 2CW Champion, Johnny Ajax.
Sasha looked out at the crowd she has been trying to win over and began speaking into the microphone.
"2CW's most watched match ever happens again at Redefine 12 as Ajax and I step into the ring for the second time in 2CW. It's a non title match but this is just the opportunity I need in order to show the world that I'm ready to be the name on the marquee. This is Redefine 12: Pariah vs Black, but after we steal the show again, it should be Redefine 12: Ajax vs Foote.
We both know everything is in your favor though, Johnny. Proof of that was what happened earlier this evening. You come out when I'm supposed to have my match and tell me to work hard and earn my way to the television title. Convenient you tell me to earn it as I win on a no-show, that's 2CW's way of giving you ammo against me, right?"
The crowd pops a little, seemingly seeing where Sasha is going with this.
"And then, not only did you interrupt my match, you were the only one with a microphone in your hand. Of course, another way to have you looking like a million bucks while I stand there, wanting nothing more than to punch your lights out.
Those advantages you have, you've HAD our entire rivalry. I won't delve too far into the past, but you've always been the Golden Boy and I've always been the rookie playing catch up, but that time is coming to an end. I'm still a rookie, but there's only so many times you can tell me to earn it, or to step up. I've been stepping up since I stepped foot in 2CW. My only loss was to you, and I admitted that you earned it, you out wrestled me on that night. Congrats, you're 1 and 0 against me in 2CW. Now's your chance to prove that it wasn't a fluke.
You know I make no excuses for a loss, but the fact is that Marisol distracted me during our last match. Without her appearance there's a really good chance that I would have put you away. This time, my motivation runs deeper. You have it all. The World Championship, the respect of all of your peers, and you are the face of 2CW. I want to take that face, pummel it, and show the world that I'm ready for this. I'm ready to be at the top of the card.
Ask, what motivates me? Knowing that I can be the first person to beat you as 2CW champion, title or not, my eyes are on the prize."

Camera opens to Johnny Ajax, sitting in what appears to be a game room in his home. A shelving unit hosts a Super Nintendo, A Nintendo 64, Nintendo GameCube, Sega Genesis, Sega Dreamcast and all four models of PlayStation. The 2CW World Championship is sitting on top of a giant library of video games, on a large bookshelf.
You know, in case you haven't really noticed before, but I'm a bit of a nerd. Look around you... I quite enjoy a good video game, i'm a bit of a connoisseur if you will. Right now, I'm playing a game that's an absolute gem, "Yoshi's Island". The basic plot is that you play as Yoshi, and you carry Baby Mario through the levels to try and reunite him with Baby Luigi. Great game through and through, but the one pet peeve everyone hates about this game is when you get hit, as Yoshi... well...
Ajax visibly cringes.
That sound has pissed me off more times than losing the game itself..
But now the question on everyone's mind: What the fuck does this have to do with wrestling? Well, this morning, while I was strolling along as Yoshi, I got hit. That fucking crying began and I was able to recover. All is well. But then it hit me like a ton of bricks: This scene perfectly describes Sasha Foote, to a T.
Think about when, when she's just strolling along, doing well for herself, "Oh Well" everything is ok. But when she goes down, or the situation isn't optimal to her liking, she cries, and whines, and cries some more.
I help her out, give her a win. Try to motivate her. What does she do? Whines to management and gets a match against me. Is that how you repay me? I honestly, went out there with nothing but the best of intentions. I want to see you succeed, I helped make you into the star you're becoming. I honestly hope that if Lillith doesn't win the Television title, that you will, Sasha.
So why the hostility? Why do you feel the need to turn my figurative olive branch into another match, Sasha? Why do you feel the need to cry your little heart out because you didn't get to wrestle the blast from 2005?
If it's a match you want Sasha, all you had to do was ask. I still hope you do well. I still hope you win the belt. I hope to God that you feel the same pride that I did when you win that gold.
But that doesn't mean that I won't beat the unholy shit out of you, in the process, Sasha..
Ajax returns to his game as camera fades.

The scene opens up with 2CW camera's pointed in the face of Sasha Foote as she is exiting her anti-bullying event. Sasha smiles for the camera's.
"When I have a match coming up with the 2CW Champion, I should expect this, shouldn't I? Camera's in my face at all times. It doesn't bother me. But do you know what does bother me? Liars."
Sasha walks out into the daylight as the sun hits her face, causing her to squint her eyes. She retreats to a shaded area just outside of the parking lot.
"Johnny decided to come out and confront me at Redefine, he chose that moment to preach to me and the world how he wanted me to win the television title, and how I'm his pick if Lillith doesn't win and I had no problem with it. I thought maybe he was actually starting to respect me. And then, he had to make a comment saying that I need to earn my wins instead of sleeping my way to them."
Sasha clenches her fists and her expression has gone from the smile moments earlier to a snarl across her lips.
"I've NEVER slept my way to anything. Everything I've accomplished in wrestling has been because I earned it. Need proof? I've worked for 3 wrestling companies. WWA, New Edge, and 2CW. Did I sleep with you when you ran WWA? No, I didn't. Did I sleep with Jesse Styles in New Edge? Of course not, we barely got along. Do I sleep with anyone here, again, no. So where the hell do you get off saying that I sleep my way to the top. Its a lie. Just like you saying you want me to win the television title.
We both know you want nothing more than to see me fall on my face, and the reason for that is, you see me as a threat. I don't expect you to admit that either, because, that would be telling the truth, which you don't seem to do often. But the truth is, you know I'm your biggest threat here now. Half of this roster are your bulletSCARS buddies, and the others aren't as competitive as I am. You know that you can knock me down 100 times, but you also know if you do, I'll get back up every single time and keep pushing back.
Why did I turn down bulletSCARS? Because I don't trust any of you, with the exception of Al, and personally I'd rather compete against the top talent here rather than join up with them. Unlike you and your friends, I'm not scared of competition...I embrace it."
Sasha walks from out of the shade to her car, she opens the door and turns back to the camera's one last time.
"You can lie to me all you want, lie to the fans and we have a problem. How do I deal with problems? To quote you, 'I beat the shit out of them.'

Camera opens to Johnny Ajax, sitting alone in his office, at home. He begins to speak with a somber tone of voice.
I just want to start out that everything I am about to say are my own opinions, and were no way influenced by anyone but myself. But with that being said, I want to give you all a piece of advice my grandfather always says.
"Every boy can make a mistake, but it takes a real man to admit when he's wrong."
I know I've said some things I probably shouldn't have Sasha. I know some of the things I've said had meanings that didnt exactly come across as intended, and for that, I sincerely apologize.
In all honestly Sasha, I'm proud of you. I still remember the whiny little girl that signed up with the Alliance to try and prove a point, and now you've turned into a rising star. I'm ashamed to admit this publically, Sasha, but I kind of respect you in the ring...
Ajax looks down, grits his teeth together, and then exhales sharply, and begins to speak more stern.
But now that the sappy shit is out of the way, I feel the need to clarify something. The big topic that you and everyone else is upset about: The fact that I called you "easy." I will admit openly and freely that was wrong. I didn't mean to say that you literally are easy, Sasha, but you sure give off the perception that you are, or that people who don't know the whole situation could possibly look at it that way.
You sit there, being the twitter darling that you are and post selfies constantly. Your main value of your "3 P's" is "Pretty". Its not hard to put together that you use your looks to try and advance your career. You may not sleep with your bosses, hell you might not even sleep with people you work with, and I truly believe youre faithful to whatever that dude you're seeing calls himself, but you give off an impression of those "popular" cunts in high school who get by with their (In a sarcastic female voice) "Oh my god! Look at me, I'm just so cute!"
(Normal Voice) and that makes me fucking sick Sasha. You have the pure, raw talent, to be able to go in, night in and night out, get your shit in, pick up a win, pick up your check, and be ready to go again the next night. But no. You'd rather worry about your "Angles in your selfies", and how many retweets you get.
You want to be a champion Sasha? You want to be on my level? It has nothing to do with bulletSCARS, it's all about focusing on whats in the ring, Sasha. It's always striving to improve. Never accepting "Good enough".
Not about subtweets...
Ajax stands up, and grabs the 2CW World Championship off of the bookshelf behind him, and camera fades.

OFF CAMERA
Sasha couldn't even make it back to her hotel before her phone was going off left and right, telling her that Ajax had already posted a response video. As she finally makes it back to her hotel parking lot, she pulls the video up on her phone and watches. At that point she decides to record herself using her phone to respond to him.
ON CAMERA
Sasha is sitting in her car, in the parking lot of her hotel.
"That didn't take long, did it? I'm kind of surprised that you admitted your flaws, still unsure if you were being genuine or if you were lying again, but I guess right now that doesn't matter. What does matter is what you did address in your video."
Sasha holds her phone up at an angle like she's going to take a selfie as she still records in video mode. She goes through a couple of different poses and facial expressions before laughing and bringing the phone down to a normal angle again.
"You really took the time to address what I do on social media? REALLY? We have a huge match coming up, a match where, luckily for you, that title isn't on the line. You don't talk about what I can or can't do in the ring, you talk about me posting selfies on twitter?
Your priorities are all mixed up. Last match, you were in my head, I can admit that. I was new here, the pressure to perform was pretty intense. This time, I'm in your head. Not only have I called you out on always being the golden boy wherever you go, I've also called you out on your lying, which made you quickly apologize and then go to an insult about selfies. I've won the mental battle already.
All that's left is the physical battle. As much as I hated it, I didn't wrestle at the last show, but you did. Congrats, you picked up another win, but I'm fresh. While you spend the week hoping your body recovers from the six man tag match, I get to spend the week training, knowing my body feels great. Knowing that the striking power I possess will be enough to knock even you out, especially when you are more fatigued than I am. I get to learn new moves, something I make a point of doing each and every week.
The difference between us right now Ajax is hunger. You're at the top, you know what it feels like. You're getting comfortable. I have yet to wear gold around my waist and I want it more than anything. You becoming a champion has made that target on your back bigger, and the number one person aiming for you is me. I have more to prove than you, I'm hungrier than you and while you waste time talking about selfies, I'll be watching more video of you, focusing on what really matters. Get your priorities straight Johnny."

Camera opens to Johnny Ajax, once again, sitting in the chair in his office. His laptop is in front of him this time, with the title sitting next to it.
Sasha Foote (on the computer) : " I'll be watching more video of you, focusing on what really matters. Get your priorities straight Johnny." The room goes silent as Johnny Ajax leans back in his office chair, releases a heavy sigh and chuckles.
You know, Sasha. I don't blame you for being hesitant on my apology, given our history and everything, and the only thing I can say is that I was 100% genuine in every word I said, and what I say at any given time. I have no reason, or need to bullshit people.
But watching this video makes me just feel... disappointed. I'm disappointed in my judge of talent. Here I thought you we're finally breaking out...Evolving into something new, finally reaching your true potential! Then all I see is that same little girl who I beat in Seattle, oh so many months ago... "I have more to lose." "I have the most to prove in our match" It's that same girl whom I left crying in the middle of the ring.
But I'm not just disappointed in myself right now, Sasha. I'm so very disappointed in you. Here I am, trying to give you advice. Me: Your greatest opponent, and the current World Champion, a goal you've publically stated you want. I try to help you out, and all you get out of it, is fucking mocking me by taking fake selfies? Jesus fucking Christ, Sasha... I knew you needed improvement in the ring, but I didn't realize that you were fucking dumb as well. You're dumb as a pile of shit for questioning my priorities, when your track record recently includes, blowing off Al Envy and a training session that 95% of the world would fucking kill for, for a date in California? That's the pot calling the kettle black.
Sasha Foote, you make it so hard for me to try and like, and respect you. You take two steps forward, and then three steps back. I'm done trying to be a mentor to you Sasha. I'm done trying to be someone who can lead you to success. If you're going to be too dense to realize that I've done nothing but help you out throughout your very short career, than I think it's time for me to put you down once and for all.
Title match or not, being the champion means I have to bring my very best to every match, including this one. If you think MY priorities are out of whack, maybe you should put the smartphone down, and look in the mirror. My priority is simple: Defend this title against anyone who stands in my way. Yours? Who knows...
Camera slowly pulls back as it fades out.

Post by Johnny Ajax on Jul 23, 2015 5:24:15 GMT
Camera opens to Johnny Ajax standing outside of the Gibsonville Sportatorium before the July 22nd Lion's Den FC Show. He's wearing a Western Wrestling Alliance T-Shirt, but the 2CW World Championship is absent from this show.
You know, Sasha. You said something the other day that really bugs me.
Sasha Foote (Video Edit): " All that's left is the physical battle. As much as I hated it, I didn't wrestle at the last show, but you did. Congrats, you picked up another win, but I'm fresh. While you spend the week hoping your body recovers from the six man tag match, I get to spend the week training, knowing my body feels great."
Ajax: I would assume at this point that our matches would require 100% from both of us, but in Sasha-World, they dont. Now look at us. I put in 100% into EVERY match, and I'm the world champion in 2CW. Sasha Foote decides to half ass her matches, and now she can't even win a TV title match without my help.
I've stated it before and I'll state it again: Sasha Foote is becoming wrestling's biggest disappointment. The woman with such raw talent, and heart, and she's squandering it with her stupid choices and twitter addiction. Your "Mental Edge" that you claim over me? A farce. A lie to try and make you feel more confident in our match, that everyone sees right through. My apologies weren't based on fear, pressure or any other factor, besides the fact that I'm not a piece of shit.
Another point where you're dead wrong is the last statement. You're not fresh. I am though. You see, in wrestling there's this thing called "Ring Rust" where if you're out of the ring for a period of time, you get rusty. That 6-man last week helped me out more than you could ever know. Training can't replace what you learn form an actual match. It can't replicate the adrenaline rush you get when your opponent wants to tear your head off. You may be physically fresh, but mentally, I'm far superior at this point.
I'm the champion, Sasha. I have the biggest target on my back, thus I have to work even harder than I did before. If you give me anything less than 100% again, I'll mop the floor with you Sasha. I want to say that I'm excited for our match, but to be honest, after that little admission, I'm expecting a squash. What happened to "Passionate"? Did you throw you "3 P's" Out the window? Or was I correct? It's just a marketing ploy, and not your actual attitude.
This is your last warning, Sasha. Come in with 100% or leave on a stretcher. The choice is yours.
Katherine Kensington pops her head through a door and asks Ajax to come inside. He obliges and camera fades.

The camera opens to Sasha Foote standing in front of a punching bag with a foot print on it as it sways back and forth.
"It's late, but that doesn't matter to me. What matters is my opportunity to compete against the 2CW Champion, Johnny Ajax, at Redefine. You see, while the official 2CW account tweets out promotion for the Pariah vs Black war of words, its Johnny and I, who once again, are stealing the show. We're putting hours in the gym, as you can see. We're verbally sparring not only on twitter, but also on the 2CW Videowire, and at Redefine, we'll physically get it on once again."
Sasha stops to wave at a fan who was exiting the gym.
"For someone as experienced as you in the ring, you would think you wouldn't mention ring rust when I've had one week off. Training and wrestling are two very different things, yes, but ring rust doesn't set in after a week. And how dare you say I half ass my matches? What matches are you watching because not only have I been one of the most passionate about this company since I've joined, I have DEMANDED competition. You call me a twitter addict but I use twitter for good. Did you not see how I constantly asked for a replacement for Kyle Stevenson because I knew he was scared of me? I begged 2CW to give me a replacement opponent, even last minute, because I wanted to EARN my win and I wanted to give the fans a match they would never forget.
I think you need to stop living in the past. You love to take credit for my career, for putting me on the map, and while I admit you gave me a big break in The Alliance, you didn't give me the talent I have. You sure as hell didn't put the passion I have in me, and as much as you would like to believe you made me a star, you didn't. It was the fans. And its for those fans that I plan on stealing the show, once again, with you at Redefine.
It takes two to steal a show, it takes two to put on a classic match, and I believe we can do that every single time we step in the ring together. You should consider yourself lucky though, Ajax. If that belt were on the line, it would be leaving with me Saturday night.
You have nothing else to say, its why you've been repeating yourself for the last 3 videos. You have no proof to back up your claims of me losing my passion, I already proved that wrong by asking for a replacement match against Stevenson. You have no proof that I have ring rust because I don't, and when I beat you at Redefine, you'll have no proof of being the best in 2CW, because you'll be flat on your back. Rest easy champ. See you soon."

Sasha Foote... You make my brain hurt...
The footage gets shaky, as what appears to be a cell phone camera, from the backseat begins to film Johnny Ajax driving his car, with Katherine Kensington in the passenger's seat. They're heading to the airport for his flight out to Tokyo. "Chocolate" by the 1975 is playing on the radio. Ajax turns it down and begins to speak.
MOVE MOTHERFUCKER! GAS IS ON THE RIGHT!
Katherine: Please John. Settle down.
Johnny: She's so fucking dense. I can't handle it anymore. I just want her gone.
Katherine: John... Please.
Johnny: I'm not mad at you honey, I'm just under a lot of stress and her two faced bullshit is just making it worse.
Katherine: JOHN TREVELYAN. That is enough.
Johnny: She claims I have no proof that she's lost her passion? That she half-asses her matches? I showed her the proof she needs! I've litterally shown the world her face, speaking the words "I didn't put in my all" What more proof do you need?!
Katherine: I don't know, Darling. She can be odd at times, but she's still a lovely person.
Johnny: And what the hell does she know about "ring rust"? I've taken shits with more in ring experience than her!
Katherine: John... Can we please not talk about things like that.
Johnny: After everything I've done for her.. I brought her in when she was just some washed up boxer, whining on twitter, into the alliance. Put her over on MY show. And THIS is how she repays me? Half assing a match against me. A match she claimed she wanted SOOOOO Bad, yet can't give 100%? FUCK OFF. She either lied about her passion before the match, or her passion afterwards, either way, she's a liar. She doesn't want to be on top of this industry. She just wants to use it to get her creepy robot fetish porn career off the ground. Well guess what sister, I'm not going to let you do that. Not this time, not last time, not ever. I'm going to crush Sasha Foote. Whether it's in 2CW or the Alliance. Title or Non-Title. I don't give a fuck! She wants passion? I'll show her what a true wrestler's passion is!
Hell, she thinks she can take my title? HA! She thinks she's better than Declan Black? No way, chica! Declan Black has more talent in his left nut than she does in her whole body, yet he couldn't beat me for HIS belt.
Katherine: No one is doubting your passion, dear. But can we please stop arguing? I only have so much time left with you, before your flight. I would like to be happy for that brief instance.
Ajax Sighs heavily, reaches over and grabs Katherine's hand.
Johnny: I'm sorry honey. You're right. I love you.
They both look, and smile at each other, before Ajax Looks in the rearview mirror.
Johnny: Jason... Are you filming me?
Camera abruptly cuts.

Sasha sits on the bed of her room, with the iPad recording. The #3PS wrestler looks to be in a good mood, a smile across her make-up less face.
"A broken record...that's exactly what you sound like Johnny. You've covered the same points how many times now? Maybe its time you get over yourself and realize that you aren't responsible for who I am, or where I am today. It's me who puts all of the time in training to get myself in the shape I'm in. Its me who goes out there and wrestles my matches and its ME who has beaten you before, just as you've beaten me. To say I don't have passion is ridiculous and untrue. I'm more passionate than pretty much everyone else on this entire roster. I dedicate myself to improving, and at Redefine you'll see me in even better shape than ever before."
Sasha adjusts herself on the edge of the bed, smiling for the camera.
"This was almost comical but you called me a washed up boxer. The funny thing is, I never lost a boxing or kickboxing match and at 22 when I left boxing, I was far from washed up. I was undefeated with a bright career ahead of me, I chose to leave because I felt like there was no competition for me. I had a PASSION...funny word right? PASSION to actually compete against people that could give me a challenge, so I made the change to professional wrestling. For as much as you like to call yourself experienced, you really don't do any research on your opponent unless it was in a promotion that you ran, right?"
Sasha smirks.
"Everything has to be about you or it's irrelevant, well newsflash Johnny, this isn't just about you, or me, or even 2CW. This is about putting on an amazing show again for the audience, the same audience that buys your stupid bullet SCARS shirts. The same audience that gives you a platform to go and defend that title, which you aren't doing this match. Scared much?
The same audience that gives you a chance to do what you want more than anything and that is to shut me up. This is about them. You don't give a damn about them, and you feel you're above them and everyone else in our locker rooms. If it isn't you or your 'brothers' you could care less.
You're about to get a reality check at Redefine because all of the lies you've told about me, all of the disrespectful comments about me sleeping my way to the top or making robot fetish porn, which I'm not doing by the way, the lies about not being passionate...all those comments do is motivate me more than you could imagine.
If you lose this match, you still have that pretty championship. If I lose, I'm no longer taken seriously. There's more at stake for me and I'll fight for my spot. 3PS."
