The camera's are documenting Sasha Foote's return to Detroit after yet another huge victory at When Worlds Collide. As soon as she steps out of the airport there's a mob of fans, chanting her name. She turns to the camera with an ear to ear grin on her face and shouts "THIS IS CRAZY!" as she begins walking through the sea of fans, signing autographs and greeting as many of the fans as she can. Finally she reaches the SUV assigned to pick her up and escort her home. She sits in the back seat as the camera man joins her.
"Wow, that was amazing. Those people are the reason I do this, along with my family of course."
As the SUV begins moving slowly, she looks out the window, staring towards the sun before glancing back at the camera.
"The next Redefine airs LIVE on Fox Sports 1 and I have an interesting opponent this time out. Jordan isn't a former champion, but a current tag team champion. Listen Ciserano, I know how hard you've worked for those titles, I respect it. This week though you're in for a challenge like you've never faced before. While your partner goes around making videos asking 'Who the F is Sasha Foote?', you are probably familiar with me, at least I hope you are for your sake.
Who am I? One of the fastest rising stars in Redefine Pro. I'm actually really excited about this match. Since I've joined this company, you, Jordan, have had quite a bit of success. If you're only as good as your last match, then you have some bragging rights don't you? You were in the big Redefine vs Anzac six man tag main event, and it was your partner that scored the winning pinfall, but you were right there, putting in just as much work as him and our champion, Ajax. Congrats. Unfortunately, Anzac closed their doors just hours later. You won't be so lucky against me.
For someone like yourself who is a talented wrestler, you haven't had the singles match experience recently that I have. Why is that an advantage for me? Because I'm used to not having anyone to tag in when things get rough and fatigue begins to set in. Instead of having another partner to tag in, I have to dig deep within myself and find that second wind and keep going.
The writing is on the wall, I have a championship match in just over a month, but I'm not overlooking you or anyone else between now and then. This is a huge night, being in Manhattan New York and airing live on Fox Sports 1. It would look pretty bad for me to drop this match right after being named the next #1 contender, so simply, I won't drop this match.
Jordan, I welcome the challenge of facing another champion, and I look forward to BEATING another champion. I'm leaving my Foote Print on Redefine...and your face. #3PS"

::The scene opens to Jordan Ciserano sitting down watching the Redefine vs ANZAC Pro tag team match from "When Worlds Collide." He smiles watching Caliban get the win before turning to the camera and speaking.::
Man, that was a damn good match right there. Redefine... ANZAC... two great feds going head to head for bragging rights with Redefine coming out on top as they should have. With the combined skills of Caliban and myself, with Ajax in there two we beat the odds and we were able to win that match with authority! Solidifying Redefine as the greatest fed in the business, and showing that Death By Velocity is the greatest tag team in the business.
Now before the match when I was speaking, I threw out some strong words directed at some powerful people and they didn't take it too easy... but they did accept part of my request. My request being that I wanted to face the new TV champion and show him what being a champion is all about. Instead of facing the champ right away though, they decided to put me up against Sasha Foote a tough fireball of energy that will test my abilities to the fullest degree. Something that I really can't argue with.
She is, in her words "One of the fastest rising stars in Redefine Pro." And I can't argue with that either, she has shown that she can hold her own. But what she said is prior success dictating future victory... which makes enough sense if you are facing another contender, but you are facing a champion. You have no idea what you are in for whether you have more singles experience than me or not which I can't believe is true.
::Jordan laughs::
Trust me Sasha I know who you are, I've seen you wrestle before and you are near the top when it comes to talent... but I really don't think you know who I am. I am Jordan Ciserano. I am YOUR Three time, and current tag team champion of Redefine Wrestling. A man who has beaten down the best in the business and a man who has shown that he is the best each week in singles or in a tag match. A man that is going after each and every competitor in this fed because he knows he is the best!
You can claim that you have an advantage because I don't have Caliban by my side in this one, because I don't have anyone to tag to, which is true. But I am used to the odds not being in my favor, it happens just about every week; Last week, week before, and I guess this week too. But that has never, ever stopped me from preforming my best and winning. This one will be no different.
Sasha, like you I look forward to this match, and I look forward to showing you why I deserve a TV Title shot by defeating you. Good Luck

"I really want this to be the match that everyone is talking about after the debut of Redefine on Fox Sports One, but I'm not sure it will be. Why? Because you're making it too easy for me, Jordan. What were your exact words?"
Sasha preses her pink fingernail on the play button on a remote control from her hotel room as Jordan's promo begins to play.
'You can claim that you have an advantage because I don't have Caliban by my side in this one, because I don't have anyone to tag to, which is true.'
Sasha giggles a little and pauses the video after that statement.
"It's not just an advantage, its a huge advantage. When you start to gas out, you start losing any strength you have. Any advantage you have over me, its gone at that point. When you start getting tired because you can't tag, that is when I'll use my strikes, the same strikes that have knocked out multiple people in my career, and I'll put you to bed.
Another interesting tidbit from your video was how you were so proud to be three time tag champions, again tagging is irrelevant in this match, but yeah, cool, nice milestone. The problem is, in order to win those belts that many times, you had to lose them a few times too. You claimed I don't know who Jordan Ciserano is? Good thing I do my research.
What I do know is that you lost those tag titles to Bad Company, a team that had Nighthawk in it. You also lost the belts at one point to bulletSCARS who were represented by Brock Whitworth and Jason Richards. What do all three of those men have in common who defeated you? I've beaten them all in singles competition. I defeated Brock and Jason in the same night actually in the Battle in Seattle for the WWA promotion just this year. Nighthawk? I ruined his triumphant return at When Worlds Collide. And unlike you who did get revenge on all of those men, eventually winning your belts back, I did it on my own, I didn't need a partner.
Keep pointing out your tag title reigns, keep verifying my points I've made, all you are doing is making it easier for everyone to get behind me in this one.
This is a ONE on ONE match, Sasha Foote against Jordan Ciserano. This is your moment to break out of the shadow of the man who got the winning pinfall for your team at When Worlds Collide, that is what you should be focusing on. Instead, you have decided to relive those old moments. Me? I'm about creating new moments.
This momentum I've built up, I refuse to let you stall it. The WGN audience knew what Sasha Foote was about, this week I show the Fox Sports One nation what I can do. And Jordan, you should agree with me more often, looks good on you."

::The scene turns onto Jordan Ciserano sitting down in a steel chair. He looks up at the camera and begins to laugh.::
Oh Sasha, Sasha, Sasha.
::He shakes his head again.::
Man do you make me laugh sometimes. Before you wonder why it's because of that "research" that you claimed to do, if by research you mean looking at the tag title list then you've succeeded love. But that's not much research to me. Research... is actually spending time to see what a person has done in their career to gain a specific advantage. What's your advantage Sasha?
::Jordan clears his throat.::
"When you start to gas out, you start losing any strength you have. Any advantage you have over me, its gone at that point." If you did some actual research you would know that I was a World Heavyweight Champion in WXW, do you know what that title is for? It's for beating people like you ONE on ONE to show that you are the best in the federation. That's from working harder than anyone else making sure that you are in the best shape of your life, in your prime so that you can win that title. But if you want to rely on me gassing out... go ahead, it hasn't happened yet and it's not going to happen now.
And if you want me to stop talking about tag wrestling then I think you should too. "I've beaten them [your tag opponents] all in singles competition." Congratulations as you pointed out I beat them too. You want to brag on how you took out my former opponents after I tore through them, after I made them weak... keep bragging because those wins won't help you against me.
::Jordan looks up thinking.::
Also for someone who claims they're about making new moments, all of that recapping sure sounded like another example of prior success dictating future victory. What you did against Nighthawk, Richards, and Whitworth will somehow magically give you the power to beat me too with nearly no effort.
::Jordan whispers "bullshit."::
You want to know my greatest advantage in this match Sasha? I'm motivated. I'm not looking past this match towards a title match. I'm not looking at this match as just another match, running through the motions I see this match as an opportunity to show I can have as much singles success as I've had else where. This is an opportunity to show that I'm not just a tag wrestler who gasses out without a partner, I'm the guy who makes sure that his opponents die out. This is an opportunity to show that I'm better than the number one contender for the World Championship, someone who thinks I'm too easy to beat. Thanks for that extra boost.
Jordan Ciserano: You can keep bringing up tag wrestling, I'll keep bringing up the facts. I'm motivated, I have plenty of momentum, plenty of stamina and I want nothing more than to prove you wrong.

"The only way you're going to prove me wrong Ciserano is if you actually pin me or make me submit in the middle of the ring at Redefine, something only two men in Redefine have ever been able to do. Lets face it all of the past success dictating future victory crap that you keep talking about works both ways.
But the biggest thing for you is, that you're motivated, right? Congrats sweetie but we're all motivated. Do you think I'm not? After stringing together more impressive wins here than almost anyone else, how would I not be motivated to keep that going? Sure, you're a 'tag team' wrestler, but I know you wouldn't be in this company at all if you weren't talented. As I told you, this is your chance to break out. You mentioned being a singles champion in the past, and while I respect that, if we're following your past dictating the future thing, we shouldn't discuss that.
So, lets discuss the one thing you have on your side, motivation. You're motivated to prove that you belong here as a singles wrestler, that you can be just as successful in one on one competition as you've been in tag matches, and that's admirable. The drive for success is your motivation, there's just one problem with it. That motivation has you going against me. My motivation has me going against myself as well.
While you're motivated to show that you're better than everyone else, I'm motivated to show myself that I can constantly improve. When I started here, I started at the bottom against two guys that were never heard of again. In order to get where I am now, which is the number one contender, I had to face any and every challenger in my path. In order to beat them, I had to constantly keep improving, I had to outwork myself in the gym every day, and I've done that.
Not only am I motivated to outwork myself everyday, I'm motivated to keep being 'super mom' to a beautiful little 5 year old version of me at home, my daughter, Britt. She watches all of my matches and just knowing her little eyes are watching, that motivates me to fight harder than anything or anyone else because I don't want to go home after a loss and have to explain to her why mommy is hurt, or why she lost.
THAT is motivation, Ciserano. You are chasing success, I'm out to make history.
We both have struggles. Yours is being pigeonholed as a tag guy, mine is being pigeonholed by certain assholes like Scorpion James as a 'weaker vessel' because I'm a woman wrestling men, the difference between our struggles, Jordan? Here in Redefine, in the current, not the past...I've been proving I can overcome my struggle. You have yet to show the world that you can overcome yours.
Want to pin me for a 1-2-3? Hope you're ready to knock me out then."

::The scene opens to Jordan Ciserano in the same place he was before shaking his head over and over again.::
Talking about a previous singles championship wasn't saying that I was going to win because of it, it was a gift to you. A warning that if you take this match as easy as it sounded you'll be done for. I gave you that as a gift, not because you're a woman facing men, not because I think that you are weak... I think the opposite. But because I respect you. Don't make me regret that by lying.
::Jordan takes a deep breath.::
Well now that that is done, Sasha. Did you really think I didn't know you were motivated? Did you really think that I believed that I was the only one of this roster who wanted to win for their own reasons? Because I knew you had yours, I knew that you were coming into this match as a huge boost to your momentum going into that World Title shot that you have not to far down the road. I now know that you want to win because of your daughter.
Now I don't take shots at any family members in this business,especially if they're only five... that's way to low for me. What I will take a shot at it is you think that I'm not trying to make history that I am only aiming for personal gain. That I'm not trying to improve each and every week in that ring. If nothing else those two things are all I am trying to do. By having success though, you make history. By having success you are given more knowledge about what works and what doesn't work making you better. Through success, I can get both of those things.
Oh and let me tell you of one other reason why I am so motivated in this match. Not just to emerge from the tag shadows, not just to show that a TV title match should be mine, but to give everyone in the crowd the best show of the night. Each week I say that it's my job to make sure that those fans, those kids and adults go home satisfied. I find that it's my job not just to win, but to give a great show.
And to give a great show this week it looks like I am going to have to "knock you out." Now I don't know if you have noticed, but I have no problems with that. I have no problems going around the ring, superkicking you so hard that you won't be able to speak. I have no problems attacking, weakening, and pinning my opponent... it is my preferred way of victory. You want me to knock you out? Brace yourself then, because strikes and superkicks are coming your way.
If you claim that I will need to knock you out to win, I'll have no problem doing it. Brace yourself.

"All it takes is three seconds for a match to be over. That's pretty fast, isn't it?"
Sasha Foote is standing in a vacant wrestling ring in her wrestling gear. She looks around her at the empty space around the ring.
"We work so hard, in empty gyms like this one, to prepare ourselves for a match that can end in any given three seconds. We've both been on the losing end of that dreaded three count Jordan, it doesn't feel good. To give everything you have only to have it all crumble in a matter of seconds really sucks, but when I've lost, it just gave me the hunger to want to win even more. This match with you is different. There's no big stipulation, there's nothing on the line, this is just a classic wrestling match. One we're both training our asses off for like we are fighting for the top prize in Redefine.
That being said, you've earned my respect. Not only am I just as motivated for this match as I've been for my matches against Declan Black, Ajax, and Pariah, but I feel like this match could be one of those matches that goes under the radar, only to be talked about for years to come. I know your style, quick, in your face, do or die, they call you guys Death by Velocity for a reason, but claiming you are going to 'knock me out' insinuates that you're willing to strike with me, and that Jordan, would be a mistake.
Striking is my thing. Being a former boxing and kickboxing champion, my most valued assets in a fight are my hands and feet. You being willing to strike with me is comparable to me saying I'll take you and your Death by Velocity partner on in a handicap match, it wouldn't be a good idea.
Think about this. I had a no dq match in my first high profile match here against Marisol Hawkes. In that match I could have used any and everything in the arena in order to defeat her. Instead, I made it a point to do it with my hands and feet. Marisol Hawkes has accomplished quite a bit in our line of work and she couldn't out strike me, a rookie in her first year of wrestling on a high profile event. What makes you any different? I'll tell you Jordan, nothing.
What's going to happen if we strike each other, one of us will eventually end up on our backs, eyes closed, rendered unconscious in front of the world. That person won't be me. Okay, let me word it a little differently.
I hit harder than you. I hit faster than you, death by impact...and in our match Jordan, when I kick you as fast as I can, that will be a true Death by Velocity."
Sasha smirks into the camera and begins running the ropes to work on her cardio.

::The scene opens to Jordan Ciserano inside of an empty gym, he is at a punching bag practicing his strikes moving it back and forth. After a short combo he turns to the camera.::
Sasha, let me start off by saying you have earned my respect and then some. Not many people would work this hard for a match that isn't even on the main event. A match that may turn out to be a one and done with the result being lost in the history books. I see you're motivated to make sure that this match isn't lost in those books, but instead it is at the top of "The Most Underrated Matches of All Time." A match that will make the owners regret they didn't put this at the top of the card, we're showing that we are the best in this one. I a fire in you that you want to put on a great show... I respect that.
::Jordan nods.::
I also respect your thoughts, that I will have no chance in a striking battle with you and to be honest I'm going to make sure that this match isn't all striking. I am going to make sure that I get to slam you down and make you work for any hit that you get against me. I'm quick, and I'll be able to dodge for a good amount of time and in that time I'm going to make your life hell all the way until you are swinging at my shadow because you're so lost. If you're looking at me to just go for strikes to knock you out, it won't happen. I have worked too hard for this one to give up what I've trained for, for a kickboxing match. Hell, even if I do strike it won't be blindly running after you trying punch after punch... even though with a longer reach it would work, I'll scope my opportunity out and make sure it hits.
So Sasha, what are you going to do when you try to strike and get a slam instead? I know you can hold your own when it comes to that but after kicking as fast and as hard as you can, you won't have much left. You can come and strike but Ill just go to the side dodging you until I can suplex the match away. Then what will you do? You'll have to change up your entire strategy mid match, try to gain some strength in yourself to fight another minute away while Ill be standing tall. It's not as easy as I'm making it sound... I know that, but it won't be as easy as hitting me a bunch of times for you.
Strikes aren't going to win a match by itself, and I'm going to make sure you don't. You'll be facing death, but not just by velocity... by force and strategy as well.
::Jordan nods to the camera and resumes punching the bag.::
