REDEFINE World Tag Team Championship Match: Beauty & The Beast (c) vs Abigail Watkins & Jasmine Delfonzo

Post by Carmen Cambridge on Sept 20, 2015 5:59:46 GMT
Carmen Cambridge is standing backstage at Redefine after successfully defending her titles for the first time. Her partner, Grayson Shaw, towers behind her with a look of anger on his face. The camera zooms in on Carmen and she hasn't even broke a sweat.
"What Beauty and the Beast did tonight was take over the show. I made it known that I wasn't happy not being booked just a week after winning the tag team titles. I told the world that I want to be a fighting champion, I want US to be the fightingest tag champs EVER, and that's exactly what we're going to do. We took matters into our own hands. When we were left off, we showed up, DEMANDED to be on the show and a Twin Bridgeplex later and these beautiful belts are still right where they belong."
Carmen runs her blue-polished fingernails across the plate of her championship as it rests on her shoulder.
"Now things really get fun. Death by Velocity couldn't draw other teams to Redefine, but going into our second defense, we have brought two women if you want to call them that over, claiming they can take the titles from us. Since you guys probably don't know their names, I'll tell you who I'm talking about...Jasmine Delfonzo and Abby Watkins. How did this come about? Because, unlike Death by Velocity or any other champions here in Redefine, when Beauty and the Beast won our championships, we didn't wait for the competition to come to us, we went out to find it.
A few tweets later, and here we are. First, Jasmine how many matches have you had? You thought you would 'try wrestling'. This isn't something you can TRY boo boo, this is something you have to live, breathe, eat, and sleep. This has to be your life 24/7, and if it isn't you will get swallowed alive. You're in for a rude awakening. You like to fly, just like I do, but the difference is I have the experience to back up the high risks I take. Lack of experience plus high risk equals, Jasmine out of the match.
And that would leave me with my favorite ET lookalike, Abby Watkins. Just because you've been around the business doesn't make you ready for this. I still have more actual matches under my belt than you. You think you can choose a partner and come in and dethrone the team who not only promised but delivered on that promise of defeating the most storied team in Redefine history? Nobody thought we could do it, and we did.
Look at it this way, Grayson himself weighs nearly as much as the both of you combined. We are the perfect combination of strength and speed, high flying and bone breaking. We compliment each other in every way and are a true team, THE team in Redefine. If you want to be our first BIG defense, bring it. You're going down, bitches."

Carmen smiles, looking at the Agent of Destruction behind her. He looks at the Tag Title on his shoulder and smirks.
“As my lovely associate said-you two are in for a world of hurt. Two weeks ago, we toppled the greatest Tag Team in the history of this company-to take these titles and hold them above our heads. Now? Well now we extended a challenge-and vividly dominated them. Looking ahead-we will continue to dominate, and continue to strike opponents down. We are the World Tag Team Champions, and we are domination personified.”
Grayson chuckles a bit-looking down at Carmen.
“That brings me to Abby Watkins and Jasmine Delfonzo. You see Abigail, you caused this. Your blood, your friends blood-they all rest on your hands Abby-because we are going to rip the flesh from your bones. We are going to tear away the ligaments, rip away the muscles-and leave you broken, bloody, and beaten. We left The Future Factor that way in Cleveland, and now in Chicago-you will be the next to seal your fate. You came onto Twitter, and talked your game up Abby, you wanted some attention-and the Queen of California gave it to you. Now, you've backed yourself into a corner-and drug one of your little friends down with you Abby…”
He smirks-and lets out a sinister laugh.
“I apologize Jasmine. This isn't your fight-you were just drug into it by your friend. It’s like the days of college, when your drunk friend yells “lets go streaking!” and you support their terrible idea. You still wind up in jail. You still blame your friend for it. The only difference here Jasmine-is you won’t end up in jail…you’ll end up like everyone before you-meeting your end times.”
He smiles, looking back at Carmen.
“We are Beauty and the Beast-and we are the change that REDEFINE needs. Jason Parker Olesen can continue to throw whatever challenges he wants infront of us-and we will knock them down. One by one-we will take everything Knight you throw at us, and burn them to the ground. We have constructed our Throne-and we plan on sitting atop the mountain that is REDEFINE, looking down on the peons, and derelicts that litter these hallways. So keep them coming, because the Queen of California-and the Devil of Sin City will never stop being dominant.”
He smiles again-his look almost goes from sinister-to something…entirely different as he looks at Carmen.
“Together, we are Beauty and the Beast. At Rising Sun Revolution, we will REDEFINE Chicago-and we will redefine the tag team division once more. Abby, Jasmine-in the end you will….bow to your Queen…and you will Kneel…Before Shaw…”
He smirks as the camera fades to black

So now it begins, huh?
Abby paces back and forth in front of a stationary camera. After watching the show she tweeted out a picture about heading to the gym, but her opponent's words had stopped her and convinced her not to stay silent a moment longer.
I take that back, this began more than a week ago, and I cannot help but laugh. I offered to come face Carmen one on one when she complained she didn't have a match. She ducked and weaved her way out of it in order to face someone that was less of a challenge. So, congratulations champs, you have already turned into a hype machine for Coast 2 Coast.
She plays with the zipper on her hoodie, bringing it up to the center of her chest before finding the right words.
Jasmine and I might be new, and we might have the lack of experience that you are undoubtedly going to harp on until the bell rings, but apparently we are already in your heads. Who would have thought that breaking the news to the Beast half of your tag team that she looked like a man in a bad wig would get us a title shot? Who would have thought that a person with no experience could get a champion to run scared and make excuses why she couldn't face us tonight? Carmen is doing most of our work for us, and that, my friends, is why I am not standing here upset. That is why I am laughing it off. The champions didn't want to go down as one hit wonders, so they got themselves a gimme match instead of facing us first.
Abby stops pacing around and stands front and center facing the camera.
Jasmine has the speed and the skill to put you on your two on your asses regardless of this size difference. Her whole time training has been with one of the most decorated strikers to ever be in this business. Me? My DNA has already proved how dominant I can be in the ring. My record shows that in a little under a month, nobody has been able to beat me. The people in REDEFINE might not know who we are yet, but that is going to change in the coming week, and even more so when we cut your title reign short.
Abby steps up to the camera and takes it off of the tripod, she hold it up to her mouth and kisses the lens, leaving a print from her lipstick.
You two should start to cherish every minute that you have left with those titles because Jasmine and I are counting the seconds until they come home with us. It isn't going to be about size when the bell rings. It is going to be about skill and talent. We have that by the barrel. You two struggle to have an ounce between you.
I'd say good luck, but it won't help you.

"DNA? Are we really talking about DNA right now? Like, for serious, get real.
Your DNA already shows how dominant you can be, Abby? Lets talk about DNA. Steph Curry is an NBA MVP and NBA Champion, what about his brother Seth Curry who shares the same DNA? Oh yeah, he has bounced around and struggled to even make a team. He's never been an MVP and probably never will. But lets do a wrestling comparison now, especially since you want to call yourselves 'Coast 2 Coast', something else you stole from somebody. The infamous Coast 2 Coast Covergirl, Liz Smalls, she shares DNA with Blade/Bart Connors. Liz became a superstar and EVERYONE knew who she was. What happened to Blade? He had a few matches, was a joke to most people and was gone. My point being, just because you share DNA with someone talented doesn't mean you are talented. You could also turn out to be a joke.
You also said that this match was about skill and talent, something that apparently you and Jasmine have by the barrel but that we struggle to come up with an ounce of it together. Really child? Cmon, don't be one of THOSE people. You know, the one's that do anything to devalue their opponents, and then when they inevitably lose, they cry fluke or luck. Yo, if we weren't talented, we wouldn't have beaten Death by Velocity. If we weren't talented, we wouldn't have successfully defended these titles last night. If we weren't talented, Grayson wouldn't have beaten John Pariah and I wouldn't have become a huge name in the States in a matter of weeks. We have talent, we have starpower, and we have tag championships to prove that our teamwork makes us the best in the business right now. We've proven our talent, that actually does come in barrels. What have you two proven yet?
As far as ducking you, again, how many lies are you going to tell? I made it clear I would wrestle you, but I have to agree with the decision to hold the match off. Not so we could have a 'gimme match', but because even though you haven't EARNED a thing here, we've already generated discussion on social media. Discussion generates ratings and ratings equals dolla's baby. Why give away a match like Beauty and the Beast against Coast 2 Coast without the proper hype? Now we've got an entire week, and an even bigger platform to perform on.
The talent and speed you guys say you have is something, and I won't write you completely off, but team work? Sure, Grayson and I have only had two matches together, but in those two matches we won and defended tag titles. We've been training together, learning more moves as a team. A week won't give you that kind of preparation.
You wanted your title shot? Its yours. Now its time to back up those ignorant words or crumble under the pressure."

Jasmine sits in her hotel room at MGM Grand and shakes her head some. She has watched everyone speak, rolling her eyes a little bit.
“No one really cares about Liz Small or her family. No one cares about who you and Grayson had to beat, Carmen. At least I don’t. They aren’t in this match. They aren’t coming out and fighting this match for you two.”
She says pointing towards the camera to emphasize her point. She shakes her head.
"Sorry to break it to you but this match is going to be just the four of us. Carmen Cambridge, Grayson Shaw, Abigail Watkins and yours truly Jasmine Delfonzo. And guess what kids? I’m fully aware of what I am doing. So go ahead and underestimate me all you want. Say that Abby dragged me into this."
She laughs, putting a hand on her stomach. Then she comes to a stop.
"I stepped up as her partner. She didn’t drag me into anything."
She scoffs, rising up from her chair.
"You wanna go on and on about DNA? Make a big deal about it because Abby only said it one time in her promo and you misunderstood what she meant. Yeah, you are clueless Carmen. I’m not even sure why Grayson is teamed up with your ass. Can’t be because you’re the beautiful one here. Clearly he is the Beauty and you’re the Beast. Telling me wrestling isn’t something you “try”. It is all work. I know a lot about work. Dedication. Carmen, you think just because I look the way I do that I don’t know about hard work and dedication? Please."
Jasmine waves a dismissive hand at the camera as if dismissing Carmen.
“Take your Yogi Bear wanna be ass outta here. You think that you are the only person who works hard? I have been working hard at everything I love my whole life. Dance. Capoeira. High Flying. It’s not all new to me. This is just my first match. You’re judging me by my looks. Like when I was tweeting with my brother the other day you had to jump in on that. Attacking my looks. Why? Because that’s all you got.”
Jasmine manages to chuckle at that as she walks throughout her room towards her bed.
“That’s what the jealous girls do. Attack the looks of girls that are prettier than them.”
She nods her head some, walking to her gear bag that she had on her bed. She threw some of her training equipment into it.
"Moving onto the attractive member of the team. Grayson, you actually feel bad for me. Apologized. How sweet of you. But save it. I know what I am getting into. Your tag team partner opened up that wide open trap of ‘hers’ when all Carmen had to do was focus on tucking that Mike & Ike ‘she’ has for a penis. Bye kids."

"Lemme get this right, Jasmine. You go on this rant about attacking you for your looks, and then attack me for mine? You two are a trip, forreal."
Carmen laughs sitting on a lavish couch as the camera records her.
"And I'm not attacking you for your looks, even though you both are fugly. I'm attacking you because you have no idea what you're getting into. This is your first match, Jasmine, and you really think you can beat us? Take me out of the equation, Grayson Shaw is a career ender. He sidelined John Pariah, he sidelined Dazi Miyashita, and both of those two have ALOT more experience than either one of you. Why you would want to wrestle him in your first match is beyond me, but I'm guessing I have an idea. Greed."
A hand comes into the frame, handing Carmen a glass of wine. She takes a small sip, relaxing on the couch.
"You think you can win a championship, OUR championships in your first match and that will automatically make you a star. Sorry, this isn't a movie, this is real life. In real life, you have to earn it. I don't care how hard you've worked in training, at dance, at tweeting, at acting tough, you aren't tough until you get in here and earn your way.
What have either of you even said of importance in your videos? You've called me names, talked a lot of crap and acted ratchet. You haven't made any valid points as to why you are going to win, because you can't. You have no valid points. I have a MONSTER on my side, one who would bench press you both into the fifth row. That's a fact boo boo. Me? I've wrestled in Mexico and the US, have had success in both, and this championship proves what I can do.
You both have proved you can roll your neck and flip your hands around thinkin' you look cute, no boo boo's, you look dumb. And you are dumb to step into OUR territory and try and do what Death by Velocity couldn't do.
Funny that you both seem to doubt me on this team, Grayson carried me, right? As much as I love having him on my side, even he would admit that isn't true. As a matter of fact, I got the winning pin in our title victory and our first title defense. Don't try and play me because it doesn't work.
I'm happy you volunteered to help Abby, Jasmine, now I get to shut up two loud mouths at one time. You wanna see what its like to play in the big leagues, you get your chance. You can crack all of the 'man in a wig' jokes you want. You can call me the beast over and over, you can even say Grayson carries the team, but when we beat you, there will be no excuses. Beauty and the Beast are legit...you aren't."

"All of this talk so far has been nothing but hostility. I recently had a friend break down to me that once you go down that path, it is hard to switch it off. So, let me start off by citing some positives and correcting some errors. Beauty and The Beast. Grayson and Carmen. You two are the champions. There is really no use reminding us of how you have worked together for your long and storied two match tag team career. You won the titles. You defended the titles. We cannot hope to take that record away from you with mere words. I know that. Jasmine knows that. Yet, the two of you make sure to remind us each time you open your mouths. It is almost like you are trying to hang it over our heads. Don't forget though, this match isn't about what you have done. It is about what you are going to do. Did you, and underdog team, not just beat what can be argued as the most successful team in the company? Upsets, as you should know, can and do happen all the time.
However, before you jump on my words, let me clarify. You two, and the world, are going to call it an upset when we win. Jasmine and I have zero tag team experience with each other. We are coming together for the first time when we step in the ring with you, and it is going to probably be a bit shaky at first. I don't doubt that, and if I did I would be a fool. That is not going to stop us. It isn't even going to make us second guess our decision to fight you either.
So far we have traded insults. That is it. Words are nothing more than words when you don't have the platform to do anything about them at the current moment. All four of us will get the chance to prove we are right. Two of us will end up being wrong.
I am not throwing insults anymore. I am going to stick to facts because I can't hope to alter your opinion. Jasmine and I are getting together tomorrow and until the moment that bell rings, we are going to be attached at the hip. That is how we are going to make up for the experience gap. We will train, eat, gameplan, and even brush our damn teeth together. By the time you two are making your entrance you are going to be the ones that haven't spent enough time together to be a well oiled machine.
Coast 2 Coast is going to be ready. If I had any money to bet, you two are going to be underestimating us all the way to the end. Just remember this though, when you're staring up at the arena ceiling after tapping out:
We warned you.
You picked this fight Carmen, and I am bringing it right to you.
Be very afraid." ========= 499, 2520

A small red light flickers on, and illuminates a dark room. Pictures line the wall as a chuckle is heard.
“Oh little girls, the world you speak of is so vastly different than the way it appears in your head…”
The camera swings around-and we see Grayson Shaw sitting on a counter top. The REDEFINE Tag Title belt is around his waist, and he is gazing into the camera
“Excuses are not something made by Kings and Queens my dear Abigail. Excuses are made by those standing on the bottom of the hill-screaming and shouting towards the top, while Gods and Titans watch from on high. You come here to REDEFINE with something to prove. You come here with a chip on your shoulder. In one night we revitalized the Tag Team Division here in this company. We brought you in, we brought back bulletSCARS, we saw Devin St. Claire’s Movement begint o take shape. We blazed a trail for you to arrive. Like the gods of old-you should be bowing at our feet young Miss Watkins…”
He licks his lip, letting a little smirk out.
“Instead you sit there and cry derision, you sit there and tell us what kind of champions we SHOULD be. We defended our titles in Cleveland-unadvertised mind you-when was the last time you saw Death by Velocity put them up? How many differences did bulletSCARS or Bad Company have? Exactly. Those three teams traded the titles over the last four months-back and forth-back-and-forth. Now they sit around the waist of Beauty and the Beast…they sit around the New Monarchy..and at that place they shall stay.”
He smiles, leaning back.
“Now for you Miss Delfonzo, my partner said something that must of got under your skin. She is right-this business, isn’t something you try for a bit and walk away from. We’re not flipping burgers or pumping gas. We’re risking life and limb. I came into this business, ready to dominate-and from the very first event, from REVIVAL onward-I did just that. Now, Carmen came in-the Queen of California-and did the same thing. Now together, united-we will accept all onlookers, all challengers, and all naysayers to step into our castle, and challenge us for our crown. Jasmine-you are playing with more fire than your sad little head can comprehend. You half lit a gas tank ablaze-just to light your path. Be careful Jasmine, I gave you my condolensces-but only because I know what your fate will be.”
He smiles-getting off the counter and slinging the belt over his shoulder.
“Once you let the darkness in girls, there is no letting it back out. I’ve accepted my role as the Devil of REDEFINE-and in a few days-you two will see it first hand. Welcome girls-and be prepared….to Kneel, Before Shaw.”

Abby sits in a well lit room, the backdrop of which appears to be a bedroom that is split in half down the center. A bed has been pushed to one side of the room, with a pull out couch extended on the opposite side.
Grayson, first I have to commend you. You did a fine job attempting to be intimidating. You had it all. There was the tag team championship sitting around your waist. As if we hadn't seen it, you treated us with that beautiful sling over your shoulder. We get it, you are the tag team champion. We get it, you two have done more for the tag team division than anyone else has in recent times. You want to claim credit for everything because the chips keep coming your way? That's fine too. It is your right to pat yourself on the back, and as I said last time I spoke out, I have no problems with that. You have certainly earned your right to brag.
She turns and looks over her shoulder with a smile.
However, when we step into the ring against each other, none of that matters. You can talk about it until you are blue in the face, but it is just words. Before I have to sit and watch a video about you dissecting that comment, let me reiterate. Your accomplishments, recently or otherwise, are noted. I am not trying to take that away from you. I have no intent of saying that it doesn't factor into your whole intimidation game. Your dim lighting and ominous tone of voice was chilling. In all honesty, you pulled off exactly what it was that you wanted to convey. However, mind games are not going to work against two women that aren't going to play them with you.
She nods back over her shoulder towards the room behind her.
I haven't been wasting my time trying to find clever words to say to you. It is a waste of time that I simply do not have. Instead, as you can see, I am making good on my promise to you. Jasmine and I have split everything I own in half. This is one of the few times that we have been out of each other's presence, and it is because we aren't committed to the cause enough to follow each other to the bathroom. We have trained together, sparred together, eaten together, and taken on any comers in the gym that, like you, underestimate us. Guess what? We are finding out every second that we were already more in sync than we could have imagined. Beauty and the Beast have their accomplishments and record to show that they can work together. Coast 2 Coast is actually putting the pieces together. Tell me, how much time have the two of you even spent in each other's presence?
Probably not enough.
.... and track records don't win matches.

Jasmine walks along a street in Las Vegas now. She was in a very nice neighborhood. She has someone walking in front of her holding a camera and they are doing a good job keeping it steady.
"I’m fully aware this is my first match. Did I not say that? Yeah, Carmen I believe I did. Did you not hear me say that? Clean out your ears. Stop talking for once, trust me. You don’t need to talk in order to breathe, bitch. Trust me, you can breathe just fine without opening that trap of yours."
She shakes her head some.
"You are getting to be repetitive Carmen. You think that Abby and I are afraid of you and Grayson?"
She slowly comes to a stop near a bench, sitting down and crossing her legs.
"If we were afraid of the quote unquote career ender than why would we be in this match against you guys right now? So stop. Just stop. You did attack me on twitter about my looks. So stop lying. Right now. Don’t go there with me or Abby. Come up with better insults."
She rolls her eyes some.
"Grayson, you are just as deaf as your partner. I know what I'm getting into. I'm well aware. You think this is all new to me? All this fighting and having to earn something? Having to work hard to get anywhere? Oh please little boy. The first five years of my life I lived in an area of New York with a white mother and a black stepfather. Look at my skin. I’m half black. We had to move in with my grandparents in a part of Little Italy just to be accepted. Let’s not even get into how it was for me to go to school. The point I'm trying to make here is, I'm no stranger to fighting. You look at me and are ready to dismiss me because this is my first match. Assuming things about me that you don’t even know. "
She gets a devious look on her features.
"You think this is about greed? Look at my twitter. Do you ever see me tweet about money? Material things? No, I’m not about that at all. So before you start making accusations about me you better do your damn homework. You don’t know me at all. But come Saturday you’re about to. "
"Listen up. Carmen and Grayson are going to find out what Coast 2 Coast is really all about. No it’s not about some skinny bitch named Liz Smalls getting fucked six ways to Sunday. It’s about Abby representing the West Coast while I represent the East Coast. We’re going to do the world a favor and shut you up. So go ahead and hold your title on your lap, over you shoulder. Sleep with it at night for all I care. Just enjoy them while you can."
End scene.

"I've had a few days to think about this match. Its cute how these two rookies want to keep deflecting the attention off themselves, and say they are good because they travel, train, eat, and sleep together. That's all Gucci babies, but that doesn't mean you are ready for us. We'll keep talking about our victories because they are actually relevant. Nobody care if you half black/half white Jasmine, look at my tail, I know the same struggle you know. My momma was white, and my daddy was black, didn't use it as an excuse for anything, instead I busted my butt to get where I got. Guess what? Now I'm here.
This whole 'Coast 2 Coast' thing is super lame by the way. You say F Liz Smalls after stealing her nickname. Hell, her inactive twitter tag is still Coast2CoastLiz. How you two plan on coming for OUR titles, after stealing someone else's name, and expect us to believe even the threats you spit out are original.
Nothin' about you two scare us. We can flip it in as many ways as we have to, but Jasmine is going to be in for a surprise in her first match. Wanna know about my first match, over in Mexico? Trust me you don't, because it wasn't pretty. And Abigail, you just got a win over Joanna Tarzanna in LAW. Is that supposed to impress us? Look back at the Redefine history books, Joanna was here for 2 or 3 matches, she was a doormat for talent better than her, and now she's gone. That win over her does more harm to your record than good.
Abby, at least you've accepted what we've done, we don't need to keep repeating it. Lets talk about the future. Rising Sun Revolution is one of the biggest events of the year, there will be eyes on us that we never knew existed. Can two rookies like you step up to the plate under that pressure and deliver?
Jasmine, any amount of training you've had can't replace actual ring time. You will never get the proper feel for a match, by training in a gym. The best way to learn, is to get in here and do it. The struggles of actual matches are what you go through in training, amplified by ten depending on who your opponents are.
I'ma keep it all the way real. You two have a chance at Rising Sun Revolution, its a small chance, but you have one. But the problem is, you will have to make zero mistakes and pray that we make 100 percent more mistakes than we have made in either of our two matches together so far. And trust, Grayson and I are together just as much as you two now, we've posted the pictures, they exist...go find them.
Wanna find us on Saturday? Look for the two people in the ring with tag belts around their waist. Then try and take them."

“Abigail Watkins, if there is one thing I don’t do….its waste time. I’m not an act, I’m not someone coming in with a gimmick or a story. I’m here for one thing and one thing along-to fight. Not for some sense of self hype. Not to impress fans, or kids in their mothers basement on the internet. I don't fight for family, or friends like a former monarch. No Abigail, I fight for myself. I fight to win, I fight for money. Yeah, I admit it. I get paid more to show up and destroy two students than some make in a year. I fight-because its what I’m good at.”
Grayson smiles, leaning against a brick wall.
“I hurt people. I hurt people a lot Abby. I came into this company, and I hurt Mikal Drakin. I hurt Takeru Ibushi, I hurt Dazi, I hurt Brock Whitworth, I hurt…Jason Richards, I hurt James Silkk, I hurt John Pariah-and Abigail, my beautiful Abigail-In just a few short days-I’m going to hurt you too…”
He cackles maniacally.
“Now Jasmine-you stand tall, you stand proud. You stand before the court-fearless, awaiting your judgement, oh so stoic. You stand there, like a martyr ready to accept her fate. Ready to be nailed to that cross. Hahahaha, I’m reminded of a song about you Jasmine-as you stand there so proud and fearless. ‘Come down, get off your fucking cross / We need the fucking space / To nail the next fool martyr!””
He cackles again-almost Joker esque.
“Now girls, be careful what you ask for. Jasmine, your story of a hard life. Growing up half black, moving in with your grandparents-it brought a tear to my eye. No-really…it did…but in the end-none of it matters. We are dominance incarnate. We have revitalized this division on our own, and we are taking on all comers. We will take the two of you down and out, and we will move on to Devin St. Claire and his little “Movement” at a later date. It doesn’t matter who gets lined up against us. They will all meet their End Times, they will all feel our wrath, and in the end-they will all…Kneel…Before Shaw…”
He smiles-and blows a kiss to the camera.
“See you Saturday….”

Carmen, you can keep it real, but I am going to keep this short. There comes a point where keeping it real goes terribly, terribly wrong. For you, that is going to be this weekend. You kept it real when you called me out on Twitter. You kept it real when you dared me to find a partner. You have kept it real the whole time that you have rambled on and on for the last week. However, like I said, keeping it real eventually goes wrong. For you, it is going wrong the minute you step into the ring with the two of us. That is when you are going to realize that you made a dumb, and rookie champion, mistake. You called out the wrong person.
Abby brushes her hair from her eyes and pushes them back behind her left ear. With a deep sigh, she shrugs her shoulders and shakes her head. So many thoughts and insults run through her mind but she was fone trading meaningless jabs.
You two are quick to dismiss my record. Most recently, you have discredited my opponents. Say what you will about them, but both of them have something in common, they lost. One of them had a big size advantage. The other had speed and experience. Regardless of what you think of them, I beat them. You want to dismiss that? That's fine. We can wash away my two wins the moment that you two wash away yours. The fact of the matter is, according to you, your record matters and mine doesn't. It seems contradictory and sloppy for you to say that. Then again, you were both just keeping it real.
She crosses the room and shrugs off her UCLA jacket, standing in the ring gear that was under it.
Grayson, how can you say that you aren't trying to convey some character when you are so blatantly over the top that I can't take you seriously? You think that I don't know that you hurt people? Do you think I got into this business without knowing, and expecting, to get hurt? You're insane if you think I havent considered the risks. When I was first training, I watched my brother do some heinous shit to people. In turn, I watched others do the same to him. I saw the violence first hand, and I never once looked back.
She starts to strap on her padded gloves. Thr camera rotates around her to show an octagon cage behind her where two other women are sparring.
The thing that both of you need to realize is that I prepare for the worst, and hope for the best. That is what I have done for the two matches I have had so far, and I have walked away victorious in both. I have busted my ass, and trained with people twice my size to get ready for this.
Rest assured it wont be in vain.

Jasmine was in a gym in Cleveland. She smirks some as she was in her workout gear, sweat clinging to her body. What do you know? She was taking this match seriously. She sat on a stool just outside of a ring and scoffs as she slowly unwraps her hands.
"Carmen, you’re going to get whiplash. You need to decide if you like Liz Smalls or hate her. One minute you are hating on her. The next sticking up for her. Then back to hating on her. What? Seriously, you are one two faced bitch. Also, we’re well aware about Liz’s twitter tag. We just don’t care. She’s going to slowly fade away into nothingness. That’s all I have to say about her."
She gets her right hand unwrapped and lets the wraps drop to the floor at her feet.
"It’s nice how you take that what I said about my not being a stranger to hard work and turn it around Carmen. Props. You and Grayson have gone on and on about the same thing over and over again. You have pretty much said the same things to me and Abby, you’ve just put different window dressing on it. We can all see through the both of you. The truth of it is, you see what the two of you started out as."
She slowly starts to unwrap her left hand.
"You both never worked together before you guys got a shot at some tag team gold and here you are Tag Team Champions. Thinking you are going to take on the world and that no one can stop you. Talking about how everything is Gucci and calling everyone boo boo. No one cares about you did in Mexico. You know what typically happens down there? Botched abortions or ugly dudes who try pass off as chicks win matches and brag about them."
She rolls her eyes some as the wrap drops to the floor at her feet. She lets out a soft sigh before leaning down and grabbing the wraps. She picks them up, standing and takes them to a nearby trash can.
"Like Abby said, that’s us. Two people who never worked together. Overcoming the odds stacked against them. Everyone doubted the two of you at first. See, we kno how that feels when you two open your traps. The only difference is and trust me, this is key. We have a pretty good grasp on what reality actually is compared to you two. We’re aren’t delusional. That little championship doesn’t mean shit outside this company Carmen because you hold it. Once Abby and I get our hands on it, we’ll show everyone what real champions look like. After all, what are you? "
She gets a devious look on her features.
"Oh that’s right…. You’re just Ratchet."
She winks at that camera.
