“A Fall From Grace”
[The camera fades in the locker room in Glasgow, where John Pariah is sitting, staring at the wall.]
Pariah: I finally get your response Jon. I finally hear your voice-and hear your answer. You said yes….
[Pariah chuckles, and reaches behind him-pulling out his prized ICONIC Championship.]
Pariah: You will remember a date in November Jon, and it won’t have anything to do with the gun powder plot. No, in Manchester-at REvolution:VENDETTA-you will remember the 7th of November….because that will be the date where I put an end to you. That will be the night where I end the ICON, where I put a stop to the Human Dynamite. It will be where I finish you off. It will be where I finish what I started in New Zealand two months ago. It will be where I prove to the world once again, that I am the one, and only..ICONC star in this industry…
[He smirks, and slings the ICONIC Championship over his shoulder.]
Pariah: Having said all that, Jon-you did beat me at Rising Sun Revolution. You came to Chicago, to MY home, and you walked out with your arm raised. If you can manage to show up to Manchester and do that again? Than let me tell you this: I will be a man, and I will hand this title over to you. I will hand this prize over to you-and I will walk out the Manchester Arena, out of that ring-for the very last time.
[He smirks, standing up and looking at the mirror.]
Pariah: We’re getting ahead of yourself. You posed an interesting challenge for me this week though Jon. You put me against your niece, your protege, “Silver” Sophia Wilson. That’s great-because I do have a lot of respect for her. She’s accomplished a lot in this business. She’s made waves, and headlines-and has come within inches of winning the Television Title on a couple of occasions.
[He chuckles.]
Pariah: Welcome to the big leagues Sophia. Welcome to stepping into the ring-with the real ICON of professional wrestling. Your fate, Ms. Wilson-is mine to decide, and at #REDEFINEBlackpool, I will decide your fate…you can count on that.
[He smirks-and does his signature gun taunt, while looking at the ICONIC Championship as we fade to static]

Post by "Silver" Sophia Wilson on Oct 24, 2015 10:02:45 GMT
Sophia Wilson returned to her hotel room, disposing of her gear in a pile in the corner and slumping down onto the bed. Every fibre of every muscle in every limb of her body ached like a hot needle was being driven into each and every one of them. She winced, then sighed as the bed enveloped her.
This week, more than any other, she had pushed herself to the absolute limit, but deep down she knew the inevitable.
She was not ready to face John Pariah.
John Pariah carried with him a history and a reputation for in-ring excellence, and nobody would deny that he deserved both. His matches were the stuff of legend, his accolades so numerous they could have filled a library. He was, in essence, everything that Sophia aspired to be one day.
But she would have been fooling herself to believe that she was on his level.
She forced her painful body up and switched on the television, flicking through the channels until she found the EWC network.
Television: And in other news, following the actions of Harlow Kinsley at the most recent episode of Monday Night Brawl, officials are reporting that Jon Kellar will be on the sidelines for up to a month as he recovers from a hairline fracture of his left radius.
Footage ran from Monday night brawl, showing how Kinsley had overcome Kellar in a fierce contest by striking him hard in the face with a set of brass knucks, and how she had followed up by folding a steel chair around Kellar’s arm and leaping onto it from the top rope.
Television: While no confirmation has been given at this time, there is a risk that Kellar will not be able to compete in the annual King of the Cage tournament…
Sophia winced as she watched the injury unfold.
It was ironic, over the past few weeks she had become more kindly disposed towards her uncle. He and she appeared to have come to an understanding that they would not interfere in each other’s careers, and that he would keep a respectful distance. She speculated that perhaps that was why Jon hadn’t responded to Pariah’s challenge, he didn’t want to appear on a Redefine exclusive event.
Ironically, their agreement had had the opposite effect, as Pariah had clearly chosen to get to Jon through her… and that she did not like. She was not somebody’s pawn, or somebody’s example to be played with. That was why she had been training so hard, if Pariah thought she would just lay down for him then he would soon learn very differently.
She switched off the television, and her phone rang. She answered.
Sophia: How’s your arm?
Kellar: Heavy and colorful… how’s England?
Sophia: Wet, cold and miserable… you’d like it here…
Kellar: Har har…
Sophia: I take it you heard about the Blackpool event.
Kellar: Yeah, Sean told me. I’m sorry Sophia, I didn’t think he’d go this far to get my attention. I’ll give him a call later and sort this out…
Sophia sighed
Sophia: No… you won’t…
Kellar: Sophia, now isn’t the time to play badass… Pariah is not like any opponent you’ve ever faced and right now he is running on desperation and hatred... that makes him more dangerous than ever.
Sophia: Jon…
Kellar: I’m serious Silver… don’t do this…
Sophia: Uncle…
Sophia paused for a minute. She couldn’t remember the last time she’d used that epithet.
Sophia: Uncle Jon… I don’t want to be a pawn in this game you and John Pariah have going on but the fact is, Pariah’s made it that way. If you start protecting me, like you did before, then everything I’ve worked so hard to do here will be for nothing. I’ve proven I can hang with the stars here in Redefine… but I can’t turn to you whenever things get tricky.
Kellar: This isn’t your fight….
Sophia: Pariah made it my fight the moment he asked for this match… you can’t change that, and I don’t want you to.
Kellar: If you get hurt…
Sophia: Bruises fade, bones repair, cuts heal… but memories last forever. Jon, I’m asking you… please… stay out of this…
Kellar: Sophia…
Sophia: Promise me…
There was an audible sigh
Kellar: I promise.
Sophia: I’ll speak to you soon...
Sophia hung up.

Meanwhile on the other side of the world, Kellar put his iPhone down on the table in front of him. He took a sip of whiskey with his unplastered hand as Melissa tried (noisily) to open up a cereal box, and Loki lay curled up in the corner snoring away in true labrador style.
Kellar sighed and picked up his phone.
Kellar: Sorry Silver…
Kellar tapped the screen a few times, then raised the phone to his ear.
Kellar: Hi Eric… I need a flight to Manchester International… one adult, one child… and I need it to leave tonight…
