::The scene opens with Jacob Daniels sitting in a general locker room. Sweat covers his clothes as he's fresh from a workout.::
"You know I couldn't think of a better way to make my REDEFINE debut like I did last show. I went out there went toe to toe with Jaxson Blade and walked out as the winner of the match. That match made me realize that I'm even more hungry than I have ever been in this sport, even more so than when I was just starting out as a rookie. It felt damn good to get out there and show what I am capable of when given the opportunity."
"And that's exactly what REDEFINE is giving me with Vendetta in Manchester. Not only did it seem like the powers that be enjoyed my match with Jaxson enough that they have us against each other again but this time they sprinkled in three more tough competition to make it Five Way Mayhem. I plan on spending the next couple of days studying and then talking about my new tough competition in Abigail Watkins, Griff Abbott and Nico Thomas, because I like to be prepared before I go running off at the mouth."
"But with Jaxson Blade, I have a really good idea of who that man is. He's one hell of a wrestler that I had to take to the limits and back to beat last show. We beat the hell out of each other in that match and he's earned my respect, no questions about it. I made sure when I saw him again in the back, I shook that man's hand to show him the respect he earned in our match. That being said, this match is a totally different beast. With this match your head has to be on a complete swivel expecting attacks from everywhere. And that is a lot to add onto having the pressure of failing in your debut match."
::Jacob looks down and shakes his head slightly.::
"Just because you have my respect, doesn't mean I'm not going to go at you Jaxson. In fact, it's that respect that is the reason I am coming at you. Last time we met, I bested you. I pinned your shoulders to the canvas and on that night I proved that I was better than you. The weight of the world is off my shoulders and its fallen squarely into yours Jaxson. I showed everyone that I'm worth the paper and ink that makes up my contract, while you haven't gotten close enough. Now, it's not only me you have to worry about, it's Abigail, Griff and Nico as well. Hopefully you don't get too into your head Jaxson... Hate for you to lose the match even before the bell rings."
"Now as for Abigail Watkins, Griff Abbott and Nico Thomas... You three will definitely hear from me later on this week.."
::Daniels smiles at the camera before getting up and walking off.::

::The scene opens to Jacob Daniels sitting in a hot tub in a hotel in Manchester. He leans back and gives a slight smile to the camera.::
"You know busting my ass training for this match, it's nice to rest the muscles and feel rejuvenated in body with mind. A big reason why I've been training hard is not just that this is a Five Way Mayhem match but because I'm taking on a young but very proven talent in the match with Abigail Watkins. You see Abby, I wanted to save you for last because of the whole saving the best for last but the more I have seen of you the more I knew I had to hit you first before you could hit me. You have that wrestling pedigree that others covet and you have found great success early on in your career. Your story is very similar to mine honestly, I just hope yours doesn't hit as many bumps as mine has. I will tell you this Abby, I have listened to every word you have said here in REDEFINE, I have done my homework because I know you are one that's a stickler for the facts."
"I find it pretty ironic how you have basically went from that underdog roll that you excelled in and now, you're the big name in this match up. All it took was what? Maybe a month and half here? Just goes to show how legitimate of a threat you are in this match. Not only that, much like me, you prepare for the worst, and hope for the best. You said that yourself. But now you can't claim any opponent is going to look past you or take their eyes off you for a second because they've seen what you're capable of. I will say though, that when you said 'we never even expected to get that match, let alone win it', that really soured me on you a little bit. To go out there and NOT think you're going to win it or just have that mentality is a big question mark on you and your young career."
"I will say that you have kind of fell into a rut of sorts with getting beat in your last few matches but I'm not going to hamper you on those, I just don't want you to be like Jaxson and try to overcompensate in this match to get back to your winning ways. After all, you find yourself in a position that you never really have to deal with since you've started your career. Hopefully you can find some of that magic you had to start here in REDEFINE. But I'll just leave you with some words that might sound familiar since they are your own, 'this match isn't about what you have done. It is about what you are going to do.' And what I'm going to do is walk out with my air raised in victory."

::The scene opens to Jacob Daniels sitting at the hotel bar in Manchester. There is a pint of beer that is half gone in front of him on the bar.::
"You know I'm not normally one to go off half-cocked with little to no information on an opponent. I normally like to have a good amount of information on them before I say anything about them. But with Nico Thomas, there is little to nothing about the man. Other than the information he gave when applying to REDEFINE, little is known about Nico. Hell, even his Twitter has no tweets and he's only following one person. It makes you wonder if he's really here for the long haul or for just some quick publicity."
"His application leaves a lot to be desired because all it tells us is that he trained early on with his uncle, which I can feel him on that since I was sent to live with my uncle at a young age too. It seems both of our uncles are the reasons we are in this sport today. Except with you it was two years before you had your professional debut, for me I didn't make mine until I was older, with more training under my belt. Since your debut you spent five years touring the UK and then went to various other countries. I like to think of myself as a fan of this sport and I'm still stumped as to who you are. I don't mean this as an insult Nico, in fact this would serve to help you more than me since other than a small sampling of your favorite moves in the ring, I don't know much more of your style. And with a match where there are so many bodies in the fray, that can be a huge advantage."
"On the other foot, the more all over the action, the more the bigger competitors thrive. Where I am five inches taller and seventy six pounds heavier than you wouldn't work into that great of a deal in a normal match, it is amplified in this Five Way Mayhem. Now, don't take this as me saying that because I'm the physically bigger man in the match that I am the favorite to win. I'm not that naïve, I know that regardless of a persons stature, it's experience and skill that can win out. It just so happens that I pride myself on having those in my arsenal as well."
"I'm really looking forward to this match up to be honest, with a man of your supposed talents along with the others involved, I think we have a shot to steal the show and demonstrate how this sport can be great again, all in one match up."
::He raises the pint glass to the camera.::
"Cheers."
::He then finishes off the beer as the scene fades out.::

We open with Abby walking the streets in front of the camera, taking in the sites of yet another place she has never been. She seems happy-go-lucky, but the smirk on her face just before she starts to talk says she is focused.
Nobody in this match should try talking to me about an amazing debut in this company. Why? Because they didnt win a title in it. They didnt show up without a professional win/loss record and walk out with a championship held high. They didnt go on to defend that title. They didnt step over challengers, and believe me when I say that I would still have that tag team championship around my waist if it wasn't for my partner wanting to bail on me. Jasmine decided that this line of work wasn't for her. Instead of sticking up for herself before our tag title defense, she hid behind the fact that she was James Shark's sister and when she lost she ran away, never to be heard from again.
Abby waves the thought away with a roll of her eyes. She brushes the hair from her face as the wind picks up. Her attention turns from the sights to be seen and to the camera.
I know that I may not have been successful in my singles debut last week, but there is no chance that I make excuses. The match was hard fought. Singles wrestling is a different monster than tagging. There wasn't anyone there in my corner to tag in when things weren't going my way. It was just me, and I came up short. There is nobody that I can blame but myself. I realized last week that I needed to push myself harder. I needed to reach out to places, and people, that I normally wouldn't have. Despite our differences, that meant training with Carmen. However, I learned something. I learned that when you are standing in front of someone that you don't necessarily get along with, you push yourself that much harder to show them you are better. You fight for your life because, if you didn't, you would only give that person confidence the next time they stepped into the ring with you. I was not going to let Carmen get one over on me, even if it was just sparring. I wasn't going to let her outrun me, lift more, fight harder than I can. At the end of the day, I think we both walked away thinking highly of each other. I pushed through to the next level by standing across from her.
What does that mean for this match? It means that this little losing streak is over at two matches. It means that it doesnt matter if there three people in the ring with me, or a dozen. I will either walk out a winner, or not at all. If I were any of you, I would bet on me and make a killing.

::As the camera turns on, the autofocus goes back and forth adjusting. It finally corrects itself with help from a light tapping from the large hand of Jacob Daniels, who is now standing in front of the hand held camera.::
"See normally this is the part I had planned out to give a nice talking about the my final opponent, Griff Abbott. But you know what they say about the best laid plans? How could I continue on to someone else when finally... Finally another voice enters the conversation and its that of Miss Abigail Watkins."
"So, why don't we just start into shall we? It's funny how you said you'd still be champion if it wasn't for your partner... Sounds like an excuse to me. But didn't you just say you don't make excuses? You put the blame squarely on someone else for your loss. That's part of the issue with tag teams, you're a team. If one of you doesn't work then both of you don't work. I've been there and felt how it is when you're in a team but your partner has a different direction they want to go. Sure you walked into REDEFINE and became champion, but let's remember that you said if it wasn't for your partner leaving you'd still be champions. Does that mean she carried you in the team? Were you the weak link Abby? I mean let's look at this, your only match without Jasmine... YOU lost. And once again like you said, without her YOU are no longer a champion. It would seem that the blame falls on well, you. Obviously there are a lot of differences between us Abby... But to add another one, I won my debut match here in REDEFINE and while it may not have been for a championship... I at least can say I did it on my own. Can you say that you have ever won a match in REDEFINE by yourself at all? Look I still have that offer to shake hands out of respect after the match but you also can't expect me to sit back and not call you on these things."
::Jacob takes a step back for a moment.::
"You're the one coming into this match that the powers that be want to see if your early success wasn't some fluke here. I've seen your match tapes and I don't think you are. I think you're the real deal and that's why everyone's crosshairs are going to be lined up on you. There's no more sliding in unnoticed as the underdog for you anymore Abby. So far you haven't faired well as the favorite in the match. Let's see if you can turn it around..."
::With that Jacob's large hand reaches out and turns off the hand held camera.::

The recording from Abby's laptop starts with a smile and a wave to the camera, but that smile finds its way off of her face when she finds her words. At first she chews lightly on the inside of her mouth, but then finds the phrasing she likes.
"The problem with stating your opinion, is that others may take it as fact. The problem with stating facts, is that people will twist it with their opinion. So with that in mind, I have exactly two things to talk about. Yes, I did say that I would still be tag team champion if not for my partner. Yes, that is a fact. She purposefully did not give her all, because she wanted out. She took the pinfall that cost us the championships, also a fact. I believe that makes me perfectly justified in what I said. Is it an excuse? No. Is it a fact? Yes. Does that invalidate your opinion on the matter Jacob? Yes, yes it does. You can see it as you want to see it but it does not change the reality of the situation. When you have a tag team partner that wishes to not be part of a company anymore, that person is going to find a way out. It is quite obvious to everyone that, that was the case. She lost. She quit. She walked away. Again, none of those things are excuses. Again, all of those things are facts. That's number one."
She gives a clearly fake and annoyed smile before holding up two fingers.
"However, yes, you did manage to grasp one concept before bastardizing it. I could not have won the tag team titles without Jasmine. That is as true as anything else that I have ever said. See, it takes two people to win a set of tag team titles. As I sit here, I am but one person. What does one person need in order to win a two person championship? That's right, a partner. In my case, that partner was Jasmine. So, did I need her in order to win those belts? Yes. Does that make me a weak link? Absolutely not. A weak link does not stick around after a fall. No, a weak link disappears at the first sign of struggle or pressure. A weak link folds and breaks. Those things don't describe me at all. I am still here in redefine. I am still standing up to challenges. I am still trying to push forward and pick myself up off of the ground. Have I fallen pretty hard? Yes. Was my singles debut solely on my shoulders? Yes. I lost. You can try and pick out another fictional excuse there if you want to, but I am not ACTUALLY making a single one. Jasmine walked out after losing the championships in a half-hearted effort. That's her fault. I came up short on my own, which is my fault.
I'm happy to have set you straight."

::The scene opens to the inside of Jacob Daniels hotel room in Manchester. He sits at the edge of the bed dressed in black gym shorts and a grey tank top. He starts to put on his Jordan brand sneakers as he starts to speak.::
"I figured that now is as good of time as any to get a few words in and then go out and pound the pavement, maybe see some of the sights on a jog around Manchester."
::He finishes getting his shoes on and stands up to stretch a bit.::
"Now see, this is what I wanted, some back and forth interactions with my opponents. It's just a shame it's only with one of them and it has taken so long in the process for them to speak. I will say though that I am happy it is you Abby. I mean, let's be honest everyone knew that you'd be the one to not only give out the biggest fight not only in the ring but also the trash talk beforehand. And unlike your first try at singles wrestling in REDEFINE, so far you have delivered. I wouldn't expect anything less from someone that would go and train with someone she once seemingly had a hatred for just for the chance to get better."
"You know it's funny what you claim is just my opinion, I took as just what you yourself said Abby. Is it really my fault that you would allow someone, anyone the chance to twist any part of your words against you? Is it really my fault that such large gaps were left? Do you leave all your doors and windows to your house or car wide open and then expect no one to take advantage of that situation? So how can you fault me? You talk about how distorting facts seems to be ninety percent of people's promo work but you have something worth saying... But yet so far all I've heard from you is words to cover up what I have been saying."
"You're following my tempo, my pace. While you're circling the wagons in hopes that any small hole in your armor is protected and reinforced, I've already moved onto the next stage. While you're left covering talking points that I leave for you to clean up, I'm onto the next move that will lead you to where I want you to go, to cover the points I want you to cover. You see the trick is to give someone just enough rope, just enough that when they think they are in charge and making the choices, that's when it cinches in. You see I'd call this a cat and mouse game but really this is more like the game Mouse Trap because I have you setting up your own path. And that path doesn't end well for you."
::Jacob finishes his stretches and flashes a quick smile before heading out the door of his hotel room.::
