the Muncie Civic Center is sold out for a huge night of Spitfire Action!
The event kicked off with four young talents, in a "Young Lions Match: Lars Young vs Miles Davis vs Shannon Matthews vs Manchester Black ended with Manchester Black pinned Miles Davis after about 19 minutes of nonstop action. Black used his "Blackest Night" move to pin Davis, after Young and Matthews were both knocked to the floor.
Former Spitfire Tag Champs collided, as Ratio Shiba and Kaito Kazurabi returned to Spitfire Pro, defeating the newly reformed Agents of Destruction - Brimstone and Destroyer in a shocking match. Raito pinned Brimstone after a flurry of kicks to the head, followed by a Spike Dragon Driver.
Spitfire featured Womens Action, as Teagan Rose defeated La Coochita in a Womens Match. Rose hit a heel kick to the head of Coochita, scooting the win.
In a "Central Indiana Street Fight" Cody Clarke defeated Hunter McKay, after hitting a brutal Twist of Fate onto the steel chair. These two have been embroiled in a bitter rivalry that led to this match, ending their series at 3-2. The match also saw McKay hit Clarke with an ear of corn, because its Central Indiana...and thats how we roll.
Mikal Drakin defeated Chris Rebel in a Title vs Career Match, that went all over the building. Drakin finished the Falls Count Anywhere match after hitting a running spear on Rebel, knocking him off the apron and through a table. Post Match, he proclaimed to be the best Spitfire Champion in history, and was confronted by former Champion James Silkk-who issued a challenge for our event in South Bend on April 5th. In the Main event, we had a THREE WAY LADDER WAR for the SPITFIRE Tag Titles. The Champion, Christian Rhodes and Bryan Kross defended against Team Wade and CK Money in a violent and epic ladder match. The finish saw Cameron Capone nearly pull the belts down-but Merc delivering a huge shot with a stop sign to the head-and than hit a sunset flip bomb off the ladder and through a table. Syco than climbed the ladder and pulled the titles down, securing a fourth reign for Team Wade!
Post Match, Bryan Kross laid Christian Rhodes out with the steel chair, claiming that he was going to be the gold standard in Spitfire-and he was sick of carrying the tag team. He proceeded to lock Rhodes in a submission hold, attempting to injure his former partner. 2CW Owner Jason Parker Olesen was in attendance, and with Richard Page's blessing, announced that the two would be clashing at 2CW's New Frontiers event.
