::The scene opens in the back locker room just as REDEFINE 26 goes off the air. Jacob Daniels is seen sitting on a wooden bench still in his ring gear but with a shirt on as well. He reaches over and turns off the television in front of him before turning to the camera.::
"First of all I'd like to congratulate Carmen Cambridge on her tough win against Abby Watkins. I've taken Abby on and I know exactly what a talent she is. Second of all, I'd like to thank Jason Richards on one hell of a battle. That being said... It looks like it's between me and you booboo. I won't lie this isn't the outcome I wanted. Out of everyone in REDEFINE, you Carmen, seem to be my closest friend. I like to think that while most see you as, well for lack of a better words, a loud mouth bitch... I see you what you really are. A showmen. Your rant and raves draw eyes on the companies you compete in and while granted you more so want the eyes on you... Well by side effect you draw eyes onto other wrestlers as well."
"Now while I don't agree with your arrogance and demanding of a new deal so publicly. Honestly, it can come off kind of tacky and whatnot but hey... You're more interested in building the Carmen Cambridge brand rather than you know building up the sport that has given you this platform to showboat. I don't expect my words to change anything with you Carmen, you are still going to come out here talking about how you're the best, you're about that monies, booboo here... Booboo there and top it off with how things will be just Gucci. But you know I guess you do you Carmen... Stick with what has gotten you here."
"You know who am I to hope that someone as talented and beautiful as you would maybe gain some kind of humility and show respect where it's earned instead of being catty on Twitter. You're not going to get that from me. You'll get a hand shake if I win and you'll get one if you win. It will be interesting to see what wins out though... Your own ego or our friendship."
"But like I said, you're a badass in the ring and it's going to take everything I have in my skill set to top you. You will be my toughest opponent here in REDEFINE. Yes, Faolan Reid may have beaten me in the very same ring we will compete in but you will be my toughest test."
::Jacob nods his head to the camera as the scene fades out.::

Carmen Cambridge is walking through the backstage area, cameraman in tow when she stops right in front of the locker room door with the nameplate 'Jacob Daniels' on it. She stares at it for a moment, before turning her back to the door to look at the camera.
"Jacob Daniels, my opponent in the FINALS of the tournament to determine the number one contender for the TV championship. Jacob and I, we're cool, and since he joined Redefine he's been one of the only people I talk to regularly backstage. Which is what's going to make beating him that much more difficult.
Listen, when you are me, and have the amount of haters I do, finding real friends can be tricky. JD and I goof around before the shows, he tells me if my makeup is on fleek, I let him know if what lil' hair he has on that big head of his is on point, we have that type of friendship. This match, it changes things. The reality is, only one of us can win boo boo, and you saw what I did tonight to a 'friend'. Remember when Abby was in our lil crew for all of like two weeks? As soon as our match was announced, comments were made and things got outta hand and I had to whoop her like she stole something. Is the same gonna happen with us?
For serious, whatever happens in the ring, is business to me. You and I have similar paths and stories. Both were raised by a single mother, both started training at age 19, and we've both found success in Redefine. That's where the similarities stop. You have talent, and you're gonna do big things here, but it won't be at my expense boo boo.
Redefine is my new home. This is where I build my legacy. This is where I'ma keep shining brighter and become a house hold name. You can't come into Redefine after only a few weeks and think you're gonna beat me and ruin my chances at a TV Title shot. Nah, it doesn't work like that.
What gives me the edge in this match? I have more experience in this company, in front of these fans, I know how things work around here. Not only that, but your size advantage is my speed advantage. You already have a bad knee from that previous injury, how the heck you plan on catching me? Speaking of that injury, what if I decide to focus in on that leg? I have extensive training in technical and submission wrestling, if I kick that leg out and work on it, I could make you tap out in no time boo boo."
She turns around, pointing her manicured finger at his nameplate on the door.
"Will that name plate still be there in a few months? Or will you be like countless others, here today, gone tomorrow? Carmen Cambridge is here to stay...and losing isn't an option."

Carmen Cambridge limps towards a ring in an empty gym. The limp, obviously planned, is her nod to the injury that her opponent this week Jacob Daniels had suffered in the past. She slides into the ring, and looks down at a steel chair that's laying there. She slowly bends down, acting as if she's in excruciating pain before opening the chair, sitting in it.
"Sorry, I was doing my best Jacob Daniels impersonation there."
Cambridge smirks, lifting her leg up and moving it around playfully, to show that she's in perfect health.
"Weaknesses, we all have them. Some are more obvious than others. Jacob Daniels has a glaring weakness that I'm surprised nobody has picked up on or attacked yet. If you look at his leg, you can see the scar from surgery. Again, I guess I'm just smarter than everyone else because I actually notice things like that.
Then, I did my research. Jacob, you joined Inferno, and things were great. Then, one night you were attacked by a chair wielding Liliana, and you were done for the time. That leg needed surgery. So you got the lil' surgery, and attempted a comeback and what happened? Tweaked it again in training. What does that mean for me? I'll tell you what it means."
Carmen stands up, kicking the chair out of her way aggressively.
"It means, friends or not, I now have my target that I'm ready to focus on when we wrestle at Redefine 27. You can come back and say the knee is fine, and maybe its a lot better than it was, but surgery, plus an injury after lets me know that there's always a chance of another injury. Don't get it twisted, I'm not tryna injure you for good, but I wanna win, and if winning means I have to work on that leg enough, to the point I have you screaming, crying, and tapping out? I'ma do it.
When you look at Carmen Cambridge, you see the best. An athlete with no big time injuries. An athlete that competes week in, and week out, an athlete that is in better condition than anyone else in this company. I does this.
When you look at Jacob Daniels, you see a big, strong guy...with a bad knee.
I like you JD, we're friends, we're Gucci, but when that bell rings, friendships are cast aside. We've both worked too hard to get here, to let a friendship get in the way of our ultimate goal of becoming the TV champion.
Now that you know my gameplan, you're already on the defensive. You have to come up with a plan to counter the attacks on that leg, which means I have you exactly where I want you. I already have a plan B, and C ready. You're just now formulating those plans. I hate that it has to be you, boo boo...but at Redefine, WALK to the ring...IF you can, and catch this L."

::The scene opens with Jacob Daniels sitting in his oversized recliner, watching football with a beer in his hand. He smiles at the camera and mutes the flat screen.::
"You know what Carmen? I hope you go for my knee. I hope you go out there and put it through more pain and agony than anyone ever has before. You know why? Cause when I beat you for that Television Title shot, I don't want you to have any excuses. I don't want you to say how if only you did this or that things would be different. I don't want any of those excuses coming from you. Do you think you're the first person to target my knee? Do you think that no one has singled it out before? And do you think that through all my coming back from it... I didn't train on how to defend it in ways that you haven't even thought of?"
"Sure go after what you need to Carmen, do whatever it takes to win. I want you to, I want you to be at your very best and to give your very best. I want to steal the show with our match. And if you thinking that focusing on my knee will win you this match, who am I to say you're plan is going to blow up in your face? I mean, you did research on me right? Dug deep into my history to find out all about me. It's funny cause all you brought to the table is information from my REDEFINE bio. In fact it's the same bio information that guess what? I gave to the company just after I signed. So, by all means babe, go for the knee that I myself put the target on. Be that first person to go for that knee."
"Let's not forget how your speed advantage goes away when you are close enough to really work on my knee. Let's forget that when you are in arms length of me, my strength over takes yours and I get to toss you around the ring and let's forget how your ribs... Are really sore still. I can't imagine how getting tossed around by me is going to make them feel. See, I never had rib problems but I know people who have. Each breath is more painful than the last and even the simplest of movements are excruciatingly painful. That means I get a few good shots in on those ribs... Your speed advantage isn't worth anything anymore."
"Look Carmen, I'm going out there to win. I'm going to give you everything I have and leave nothing off the table because your talent demands it. And when it's all said and done, I'm going to offer you a handshake out of respect and a hug out of friendship."
::He smiles and winks to the camera before leaning back more and taking the flat screen off mute as the scene fades out.::

Carmen finishes watching Jacob Daniels' latest video. After his words about attacking her ribs, she has her hand up her tanktop, rubbing her ribs gently at the though. She's had a rough day after her loss in the IWA, and is sitting on her couch at home, with her boyfriend Darryl doing the filming.
"That's how we're playing now? I attack your knee, so you come after my ribs?"
She frowns again at the thought, removing her hand from her torso.
"Whatever boo boo, go after my ribs, see if it works in your favor. What I wanted to touch on tonight was what you said in your first video submitted to the video wire. You had the nerve to question whether I was only in this to build the Carmen Cambridge brand, or if I were trying to build the business as a whole. Listen JD, when I does what I do, everyone watches. By building my own brand, I elevate the ENTIRE brand of Redefine. And ask yourself this, did ANYONE else on the Redefine roster tweet about the UNTELEVISED Fight Club event as much as I did? What did that do for me? It wasn't televised, it was VIP invite only, and here I was, talking about it more than even the Redefine company on social media. Don't you dare question my commitments or I promise I will snatch you bald."
Clearly irritated, Carmen sits up on her couch.
"What you call 'being catty' I call, being real. You wanna know the real problem with you JD? You're too nice. Trust me, I love it when it comes to hanging out backstage, or chillin', but in the ring, being nice will get you nowhere. Where did it get you against Faolan Reid? Oh that's right...it got you a big L in the biggest match of your career up to that point.
I'm not Jason Richards, I don't curr about your daggone respect, I'm in this tv tournament to win it. I want it all. The monies, the fame, the spotlight...and I'ma take it.
This handshake and a hug BS? Miss me with it. Right now, this is about who's BETTER in the ring, and straight up I can tell you right now that I'M better. I'm not as injury prone as you are, I've beaten bigger names in this company, and I've worked my tail off to get another opportunity to become the TV Champion.
People like you JD can marvel at the fact that DBV are dominating our company and holding all of the gold? People like me? I ain't havin that. I said I'd be a thorn in DBV's side, and I will be, but unfortunately for you, I gotta get through you first.
I'ma tell you what...AFTER I beat you, MAYBE I'll shake your hand, maybe I'll even sign you an autograph, but don't walk into Redefine expecting to walk out with a win. No way, no how, not happening."

::The scene opens to inside of a training facility in Las Vegas. REDEFINE wrestler, Jacob Daniels is seen tossing around a boxing heavy bag on some mats just a little ways away. Without much effort Daniels launches the bag over his head and across the mats where it lands with a thud. He looks over and sees the camera crew, walks over with a towel in hand and sits in a chair near the camera.::
"Let me ask you something Carmen, do you know what consistency is? You see sometimes I don't think you do. You see you have come at me several different ways this week and each way, I kind of stifled you forcing you to try the next approach. Like how first you see me as some villain cause I would target your ribs but then suddenly I'm too nice. I really find it funny how you claim that I'm too nice, that you mistake my respect and honor of this sport and my opponents who deserve it, for me being nice. Sure, we goof around and have fun backstage or out to lunch or whatever but none of that is me in the ring. I doubt anyone who has faced me in the ring would refer to me as nice. I think you're grasping at hope that us being friends means I would be nice to you in our match."
"I think your ribs are way more banged up than you are letting on, either that or you know what a guy like me could do to them. Why else would you try to say your ribs are off limits on Twitter? Why else would you rub them as you heard me talking about targeting them? After all, your tone did change up from one of mocking to one that was more serious and focused. Just more inconsistencies from you this week Carmen. So you can tweet about whatever VIP shows for REDEFINE or about whatever companies you lost in this week but me? I'm focused on you and winning that title shot. I'm not looking past you and onto anyone else, Carmen are my sole focus this week."
"Unlike your past opponents, I'm not going to get sucked into some Twitter war of the words... I'm going to train and train and focus on beating you. Like you said, you've had more matches here. Which means more tapes for me to watch, which means more missteps showing up. Cause let's be honest, you're not undefeated either. Actually you have more losses than I do... So finding out how to defeat the great Carmen Cambridge isn't as hard to figure out as you'd let people believe."
"And like I said, regardless, I'm going to offer you my hand in respect after the match. Hopefully your bruised ego doesn't get you too over worked and make you not shake it."
::He gets up, smiles and then tosses his towel over the camera lens as the scene closes.::

"My ego doesn't bruise easy, so kill that noise from jump street boo boo.
This match is big time, and if we're keepin' it real, there is hardly anyone in wrestling period right now, as big time as Carmen Cambridge. I may not win every match, but you can bet when my name is on the marquee all eyes is on it. At Redefine 27, just having eyes on me or the show isn't enough though. This is one of those must win matches for me.
Go back and Watch Vendetta. I pinned Mars Tetch and sent him on the downward spiral that ended with him losing his job here in Redefine. I kicked out of Caliboom when its nearly impossible to do. I pushed Caliban to his limit, and nearly walked out the TV Champion. Nearly isn't enough for me anymore. I'm getting frustrated with getting close, but finishing for second place. There is no more second place.
JD, you know I have a lot of respect for you, but if your big plan to win this match is to attack my ribs, then you 'bouta have a long night. What would attacking my ribs do for you? Force me to submit? Newsflash, I was choked out before I submitted before in Redefine, I don't give up or tap out, so that lil game plan needs some work.
So when I don't give up after you attack my ribs, then what? You gonna out wrestle me? How the eff you finna do that with a bad leg after I kick the crap outta it? Better yet, even on two legs, you can't out wrestle me. You can't formulate a strategy that can ruffle my feathers, I'm unbreakable, boo boo.
You hide behind your words, and you do a good job of it. You always try and make your opponent look dumb in your videos, but you rarely talk about what you are gonna do in the ring. I can tell you here and now, I'm a better high flyer than you. I'm a better technical wrestler than you, and I have more star power than you on top of it. You talkin' 'bout you won't get in a twitter war of words and that's Gucci, but all it does at the end of the day is hurt your stock. This match could be bigger, but we're getting our spotlight stolen by Saito and Toku because even though Toku is wack af, Saito is drawing eyes to her match.
Step up son son, do big things, do more than just try and play jeopardy on the video wire with your opponents. I ain't the one for that mess. What I does is fight boo, and I does it well. My ribs are gonna be just fine, so there's no way out for you at Redefine 27. Only one of us can win and go on to End Game, and honey there is no better choice for TV champion than me."

"There's a quote that's very fitting right now for how things are going for Carmen Cambridge and myself this week. Sun Tzu once said 'The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting.' That's exactly what I have done to you Carmen. You're used to taking people and making them play by your rules. But unlike Abby or Mars, I didn't let you take us to Carmen's Playground. Instead I blindly lead you to wherever I wanted you to go. While you thought you were being innovative, that was me making you jump through hoops. You've been to worried on getting your name on as many marquees as you can that you got too cocky. I bet those ribs are still nice and tender... You do have a busy schedule working multiple companies that I doubt you've had much time to rest them. My knee? I haven't felt pain in months... When's the last time your ribs hurt? In fact they must be bothering you something fierce that you had to all but waive the white flag about them on Twitter. That reminds me, you said that I never told you what my plan is for our match, well other than playing the xylophone on your ribcage. Do I look like some evil mastermind? Do you think I'm going to rant on with some evil monologue about my plans? How would that really help me against you if you knew what I was going to go out and do?"
"I won't lie, when you said that I had to hold back a chuckle. The badass Carmen asking for a game plan against herself? You must really be grasping at straws here babe. Am I that far in your head? I mean, I guess I have to be with all the simple mistakes you're making against me. Focusing on things that don't matter, being quiet on Twitter and contradicting yourself? That's not typical Carmen territory."
"Let me ask you this, if when your name is on the marquee all eyes is on it. Why then is Saito against Toku taking all the spotlight? I mean you said that right? How can those two outshine your name? Is it because you're facing me? Is my name so bad that it's dragging yours down? Is my name recognition that low? That has to be the only reason right? Cause you have the star power.... Then why would beating me be a 'must win' match for you Carmen? Shouldn't it be a 'will win' match?"
"Now I'm sure you'll come out here and say whatever you need to to make that ever growing voice of doubt, that sits in the back of your head, quiet down. And you know what? You may even beat it down to just a light whisper but it'll always be there because we both know you're going into this match at REDEFINE27 against me... As unsure of yourself and your abilities as you've ever been before."

We open up at the home of Carmen Cambridge on Thanksgiving day. The Darkhorse has been up cooking in preparation of bringing her own dishes to her mothers later in the day for Thanksgiving dinner. Carmen's ego just couldn't wait to record a response to Jacob Daniels' latest entry to the videowire. Her boyfriend, Darryl records as Carmen checks on the Turkey.
"So the Jacob Daniels in the oven is Gucci for now. Cooking nicely. Yasss I called you a dang turkey, JD. Why? Because you switched up on me. You were a real one, now...you aren't.
How the eff do you think you can say what you say and we'd still be cool? First off, we aren't moving at your pace, I'm always the one in control. Just because Saito and Toku are stealing the spotlight as I said, that doesn't make me any less of a star, it just means you aren't a star yet and probably won't be for awhile. Why? Because you are low key. Low key doesn't mean you aren't talented, it just means you aren't marketable like that. How do you expect to be the TV Champion if you bore people when we put you on TV? Go back and look at the video wire for the last few shows, my matches got the most views because people WANT to see me.
You think getting in my head is going to guarantee you the win, but you keep forgetting that we gotta actually get in there and wrestle, boo boo. Half the battle is mental, I give you that, but what makes you think you're in my head? Because of a few tweets, or because I rubbed my ribs during a video? Who's to say that I ain't just tryna throw you off? I'm just as good at these mind games as you seem to think you are.
I don't deal in what if's and questions though, I deal in facts. Fact is, I bring MONIES to this company. You think people would rather see a JD/Caliban match or a Carmen Cambridge/Caliban rematch? We stole the show once, and I know we can do it again, shoot I know we WILL do it again after I beat you on Saturday.
This company is called Redefine, as in evolving the business. What the heck have you been Redefining? How to bore everyone? I'm done playing nice with you. The Carmen you hang with backstage isn't showing up to this match, you know who is? The Carmen that has taken the entire world of professional wrestling by storm in the last few months. IWA called me 'one of the hottest female wrestlers in the business', and at Redefine 27 I'ma burn that ass boo boo."
Carmen slides the Turkey out of the oven, smirking at it then back up at the camera.
"JD is ready to be stuffed it looks like...but I think I'll hold back, because he's already full of shit."

"What makes you think I'm not in your head Carmen? Is that something you say to yourself to make things easier for you this week? Is that some kind of coping mechanism you're using to help with the fact that everything I've said to you this week is hitting just a little bit harder than it normally would? Take for example how you went at Abby last week, it was full speed ahead and business as normal against her. Against me? You have stutter stopped, swerved and threw it in reverse all week. Hell, you've even tried a last ditch effort to save face by trying to say that you were the one playing mind games. Come on Carmen, you're better than that. Hell, you are now even doing the whole go ahead and go for your ribs game. You know much like how I said to go after my knee, only you know, my knee doesn't hurt me all the time like your ribs do. So you don't need to stoop to the copying game or the 'No I did it first!' route."
"Fact is this whole week, I have been level headed and forward moving the whole time. I've been consistent with what I have been saying about you and this match and have been slowly picking you apart. You? You've been coloring outside of the lines all week. You've gone from goofy to serious, all the way to solemn and then a return to serious back to being goofy. I've had you twisting a turning to whatever direction I wanted. In fact, I've had you even stumbling over your own words this week."
"Like how you claimed to steal the show against Caliban? Let's get real, you lost the match, he won the title... He stole the show. If we want to keep keeping it real, you haven't done well in big match situations lately have you? I mean you're good enough to get into those spots but when the pressure is on, you don't seem to knock them out of the park like you used to. I'm sure it's just a small funk you found yourself in and it won't be long before you're back but, let's just say it's been noticeable."
"I did like how IWA named you one of the hottest female wrestlers right now. Too bad they didn't say you were the hottest. Maybe I had something to do with your loss there, who knows. The funny thing is you even said 'This company is called Redefine' so why are you talking about some company not named REDEFINE and what they think of your career? You see Carmen, your not on your game this week and it's starting to show more and more."
"I don't know about you Carmen, but after this match, I'll still consider you my friend. I know the difference between what happens in the ring isn't the same as out of it. I look forward to facing you, boo."
